wasn't Terra the name of the main character in Final Fantasy VI?

 

Only in the English versions. In the Japanese version, she was named Tina.

 

There's also Riku and Rikku.
Perhaps the extra "k" is more feminine? lol

 

It's not just names but character designs are starting to become similar.

I think that he looks more like Cloud really. But he does have the same kind of look-a-like Marluxia.

 

Yeah They have the same voice actors too.

A company (S-E) can have so much creativity, so cut them some slack. Yes, they over use their designs, names, and stuff, but they have great games. That's all I care about.

I thought that was funny because I played FFX first, so I was like, wow, they gave this guy a girl's name.
