Whoo! First Wallpaper. It's fairly simple, but I wanted to do something cute. So I decided to use this piece with Korra and Pabu together sleeping on the ground. I touched up a few spots and added shtuff. Art by Brumous. Permission was given to edit this piece.

    Original Piece for comparison.

Comments and Critiques are greatly appreciated.

As usual, your work is fabulous. The only thing that bugs me is the amount of so much light colors. I just enjoy darker things though. I'd say the background be a bit lower tinted.

Aw, this is cute. The only thing that bothers me is the text. It seems out of place. I adore the original art, too.

    Lovely work.

Hm, I guess I personally associate adorable and cute things with brighter colors and higher saturations whereas things more serious and morbid to be darker, duller, and earthy.

    But nonetheless, thanks!!!

How so? I kind of wanted things to feel a little out of fixed spaces, so I did that with her feet sticking out and the text breaking the side a bit on the left.

    Thanks nee-san~

You did some nice rendering and the text is well done, but I think you should either expand the texture to cover the entire background, give it more shape or cut it out completely. Essentially that that you did was render Korra, add a square into the background and slap some text on. It is very plain. It needs something other than the beautiful stock to catch the eye, or it looks like your edit did not add to the image.

Scrunch the text together more, close to if not actually overlapping it (which might be a good idea since you tried to make it three-dimensional. It takes up more space than the render right now, and that is almost never a good thing unless you want people to see the text as the main event.

    Keep trying.
