    About the other two, I have no idea about reporter, but to be a coder, you have to be experienced with codes obviously and post a lot in that section. There may not be an opening to be one though.

    Reporters and Coders are staff groups. You don't just become one of them, you have to a) earn it and b) the staff will have to actually need you.

    With prem their is a post requirement and everything is all pretty straightforward. Getting into a staff group isn't that simple. Just don't cause any trouble, be helpful but don't backseat mod and be active (these things help).

    Also, don't harass us about wanting to be staff, generally that actually works against you.
    We usually let everyone know when we're looking for staff, too.
