No Thanks Renamings of Sections Suggestion

Since so many people seem to be getting confused and posting in Feedback & Assistance for assistance instead of Site Assistance, why not rename it to Feedback & Suggestions so it clearly indicates it's only for feedback / suggestions. Since links to the sub-forums have been showing on the index page after the forum re-arrange took place, I don't think it'll be a problem.

What also said he was thinking the same thing on MSN.

Same with the Introductions & Departures section, really. It could simply be Introductions, while Departure Hall stayed the same or was changed to just Departures to match, which leads me to a question, actually. Why didn't we stay with Chamber of Waking and Chamber of Repose? I honestly thought those were good games, and, if possible, would actually like those back. :smile:

Anyway, naming it Feedback & Suggestions would be redundant and would not clearly advertise the assistance part of the section, imo. Same deal with Introductions & Departures. Yes, the subforum links are there, but we also have descriptions for every forum. If people are really getting confused, they can easily read them...

We didn't keep the Chamber names because, while a nice tie to the Kingdom Hearts games, we feared that newer memebrs would not be able to easily locate the Introduction section with a title like that.

 

I thought it was more of a staff thing.

Agree with Misty (because I would've made the same points)

The newer members just need to look around the site a bit more, it's clearly worded what is where, what goes on in each section and there are plenty of threads that can be used as examples of the things they want to post in each section if they are not 100% sure.

Repose and Awakening are nice words to use in general for Intro and Departures, but they aren't as clear to people who don't understand, it's true.

 

Changing it would affect the whole site, might as well let everyone weigh in on it. In any case...
