Here's what happens when people drink too much soda

The Titanic

A British ship called the "unsinkable" Titanic began its first voyage on April 10, 1912. On April 14, the ship hit an iceberg. The collision caused a 300-foot hole in the ship, and two and one-half hours later the great ship sank. Over 1,500 people died in a watery grave. The sinking of the Titanic was terrible. But it was not the worst thing to happen.

Atom Bomb

On August 6, 1945, the atom bomb, "Little Boy," was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. Over 92,000 people were killed or missing because of that bomb. On August 9, 1945 a second bomb, "Fat man," was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. Over 40,000 people were killed or missing because of that bomb. Many were scarred, deformed and injured for life. Thousands killed themselves because of the pain and suffering. But the atomic bomb was not the worst thing to happen.

Storms

Over 200 tornadoes hit the United States every year. Towns and cities have been destroyed. Sometimes the wind blows more than 300 miles per hour. In just a few minutes, it comes and goes leaving death and destruction. Hurricanes and typhoons form in the oceans. Often they measure several hundred miles wide. In 1900 in Galveston, Texas, over 6,000 people died in a hurricane. In 1963, Hurricane Flora killed more than 6,000 and left 750,000 without homes.

Earthquakes

Most of the damage of an earthquake is done about 10 seconds after the first tremor (shake). In 1737, over 300,000 were killed in Calcutta, India. In 1970, in Peru, 47,194 were killed. People in certain areas live daily in fear because the earth could open at any time. Storms and earthquakes are terrible, but they are not the worst things to happen.

Accidents

A plane crash is awful because usually only a few, if any, are able to survive. Trains have gone off the rail and many have been killed. Auto accidents are the number one killer in America. But an accident is not the worst thing to happen.

Disease and Sickness

In 1894 the Bubonic Plague, a terrible disease, appeared in Hong Kong, one of the world’s great ports. From there, ships carried the disease to the rest of the world. More than 10,000,000 persons died during the next twenty years. Cancer is terrible and frightening. But sickness and disease are not the worst thing to happen.

The Worst Thing

Great tragedies and accidents happen quickly and soon pass. Disease and sickness can destroy the body but not the soul. The worst thing that can happen to you is to die without Jesus Christ as your Savior. Death is not the worst thing, but to die lost, without Jesus as your Savior, is the worst thing.

The worst thing to happen to you is to be forever -- eternally -- separated from God. The life of the body is short, but you have a soul that will live forever. The body may die, but you will still live. You will live some place forever.

Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man (that means you) cometh unto the Father (God) but by me." Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life. Do not die without Jesus. The worst thing that could happen would be for you to die without the Lord Jesus Christ. No one knows when he will die. You could die tomorrow, so be saved today.

After my sister told me that if you leave a tooth in a cup of soda for 24 hours it will completely disintegrate I rarely drink it anymore. Plus I've heard people say that they've lost at least five pounds since they've stopped drinking it.

 

If that's the case, then I need to drop pretty well all food I eat.

You know, eating disorders and anorexia are just as bad as obesity, if not in some cases worse.

 

I'm not obese, I just eat alot of junk.

 

I was using obesity as an example to refer to how it is the essential opposite of anorexia.

 

Obese people are fat.and crazy
Anorexic people are skinny.and crazy
