Lately I've been doing reviews on the PS+ games that come around for the PS3, this week's was Remember Me
I was curious what people have to say about the review, or the game in general, I hadn't actually heard much of anything about it before starting the review

I'm actually playing through it right now and I like it so far. The concept of memories in it is pretty interesting, and Nilin is pretty cool. There isn't really too much free exploration though, and the fights can be kind of a chore sometimes. The whole "hunter being hunted" thing is kind of cliche (what isn't nowadays), but overall it's something that's kept me invested in playing through to the end.

Remember Me kicks ass. Neo-Paris is one of the coolest cities in modern gaming and everything but the godawful platforming is pretty fun. Combat's okay.

I liked it quite a bit, despite how it had some of the most mindless gameplay I've ever personally witnessed. Loved the concept and atmosphere of it, even if some of the terms, like "Errorist", seemed like it was parodying itself. It had a interesting story and some of the plot twists actually surprised me, it was particularly cool how the plot twists happened in one of those memory remixes, and the game didn't really address them until after you were done with the remixing. It gave you some time to let it sink in, also gave you more of a feeling of finding out about it yourself, instead of it just being told through exposition.

Bosses were pretty fun too, particularly what's her face in the prison. Her entire stage was cool.

I've seen like the first two hours and I have no care to get into it. It's trying too hard for me and feels badly design. The whole premise of the game is explained in a damned coffin! Also, for a game focused on memory and its effects, there is a damn lot of unexplained reasons for you fighting mutants.
I've got it for PS+ too, but I only downloaded it in case I wanted to play, but even that has done nothing for me.
