I watched it with Chev, Plums and Sabby last night. xD It was interesting to say the least... almost like an extreme Speed Racer with explosions, funky hairdos, fanservice, and aliens. I did like the character designs though. The sound track is also really good with the UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ. Very weird overall but I enjoyed it, definitely worth the watch.
Speed Racer on spiral energy and euro beats. But yeah, this movie was pretty great. The character designs were definitely interesting; reminded me of Yubaba from Spirited Away at times. Anyway, there is quite a bit of fanservice, and the plot is very simple (and there were even some things just thrown in towards the middle), but the soundtrack was wonderful, and the action was just off the charts.
