I've taken to calling the cockroaches in my apartment moe-tans. I also tell them how uguu they are when I squish their guts out.
We have neurotoxin bait set out for them. When they die from ingesting this stuff they first get sluggish, then they start making involuntary motions, then they curl up and stop moving save for the smallest of twitches every few seconds. I assume when they finally stop moving it's because they're dead.
I'm fine with that. I just can't bring myself to kill them personally. It's the same as the difference between strangling your old high school bully and shooting him. The less personal, the better.
No. I'm still fine with gassing the little bastards. I just really dislike the personal approach. As I said before, would you rather strangle someone until his face turns blue and you can see in his eyes that he truly understands your intent to end his life right there or do some heavy mathematical calculations right before shooting him in the forehead from ~100 feet away? That's how I feel about killing crickets, ants, and (most recently), cockroaches. Also, it's self-published manga, not anime. I wanna call it a doujin, but that's one of those words that I'm never 100% sure of how to use so I'm just gonna stick with self-published manga.
For future reference, doujin just refers to self published work. A lot of things that get title independent, or "indie", over here would get titled doujin over there. That's why people call EGS a doujin studio.
A bit sadistic. Maybe some family issues too if you're projecting the title of "Onee-Chan" on them as they do this. We need to get Jiku to therpay, asap.
