This is just suggestion then. No hard feelings, eh?
It could be lots of better if you could post only once or twice to ONE page of Rate Avatar Above You topick. I mean some people have over 5 posts per page! It would be lots of better if you could post only once or twice. I mean some people can`t rate new avatars `cause some ppl are always posting there.

Well some ppl do those 5 messages with same avatar and sig and because of them others can`t rate new ppls ava.

 

I see what you mean. It is kinda silly when you think about it. Someone gets their sig/avvy rated, you'd think they'd be satisfied. But then they post again right after someone else.. They should give others a chance to be rated instead of hogging the limelight xD

But lol @ this suggestion. If you wanted to rate a specific person, just quote them or say the old fashioned "@fillInUser".

 

We could like, say something that prohibits people from posting again for like... an hour, maybe.

And if they don't follow that, then their post can be simply deleted. :3

I'd have to say no to this one.

Nothing can really be done about it since they are essentially doing what the thread is there for. Wouldn't be right to punish people for following the rules.

Just quote/@ sign them or something.

 

I think it is a good idea people want to know more than one persons thoughts, so if the same person rates everyone’s, how do they know what others think, that one person could also be biased because they like the color so they rate it higher so it’s not a true review... I wouldn’t what to some one givine me a high score because they like my coloring and nothing else…

You COULD just quote the person or edit your post to rate the person who's above you afterwards, ya know.

I fail to see why we should do this. It's in the spam zone so really it's just spam. If people want to post five times in a single page then let them, there's nothin' you can do about it. If you really want to rate a certain persons avatar then put quote their name and rate it.

 

Directing your post at the persons you wish to rate is enough - that's the magic of the internet. This is something that the staff shouldn't have to worry about when the solution is so incredibly simple and easy.

 

I see why you might get annoyed at the situation and it is rather silly for people to keep recycling their names in over and over, but really it is in the Spam Zone and anything goes there. At the same time that these people do this, if you don't want to judge them just lurk and wait for someone else to judge who is new if you can. Some people just get overly excited and are happy they have new sigs so they want various people's opinions on it and it generally dies down once the novelty has worn off. We can all get that way now and then over something. I'd have to say no, and that nothing really can or should be done.

 

I have to agree with Repliku so my answer is no...the idea's not bad, but seeing as how this is the spam zone...
