Long story short, two Radio hosts [Kyle & Jackie O] were fired as they forced a girl to admit that she had been raped. She was tied to a lie detector and was asked if she had any "sexual experiences" by her mother. She was forced to admit that two years ago (she was 12 at the time) she had been sexually abused.

I think that what they did was extremely stupid. They shouldn't of asked her about those things, she's technically still not legal (The age is 16 here). They had not asked her before hand.

I wonder what they told that girl and her mother she would be doing on the show?

    lol Australia

But really, it is a cruel thing to do to the child. It's a traumatic experience and forcing her to relive it that way is terrible.

    Crikey!
Those dingos sound like a right pair!

SEriously though, how much attention seeking do 2 radio hosts need, by harassing and embarassing a 14 year old girl? What utter lunatics...

A mother agreed to have her child on the air to do that? Sounds like she should be questioned too for wanting her child to expose her sexual activities and such on the air like that. Not even cops are able to hook someone up to a lie detector and demand such against their will. You have to be willing. And the other thing is she's a minor and even adults, if a lie detector is used, have a right to privacy and the matters, as far as the actual recording would only really be released in court.

I agree that those two should have been fired but think the mother also needs a reality check. Just hope that girl will be alright because now she has to live with people knowing which won't be so fun amongst peers in school.

Alright... I live in Perth, Australia... I didn't hear this... But really... I just want to know... Alright... Kyle and Jackie didn't know... The mother didn't know... It's one thing to blame the hosts... But really... The way I see it, shouldn't this mean that now the kid can get help and support?

It may have been a stupid thing to do on air... But really... The blame should be on the mother... She is the one that asked the question, no? Asking your fourteen year old daughter if she has had any sexual experiences on live radio is just asking for trouble... There are things you keep at home, and this was one of them... Besides... If the girl didn't want to tell her mother at home, then her mother should have left it at that...

Title is really misleading. Here I was expecting two DJ's to have raped a girl on-air and all I get is a silly lie-detector test?

    I am disappoint.
