Well...for the last half an hour google has been giving answres to completely different problems...I'm not sure what happened, I was downloading games, I went to download professor layton and the curious vilklage, I pressed copy and clicked paste in my SD cards folder...and it said there was an error copying...Then the folder dissappears...After a while I wonder if itll still work in my R4 itself so I put it in...And my R4 doesn't even load properly theres a white screen with a red outline of a card inside reads the word "error" is there any way to fix it or is this thing genuinely broken?

    That's an interesting error...

I can assure you there's not AP on Curious Village. I have that same game on my R4.

I've never heard of this issue before. I would try Formatting your SD card. Try turning on the R4 with no SD card in, and tell me what happens.

Also, ask romulation. They're probably better at this stuff than KHV.

And I have the same game on my DSTT, so I can vouch for this too.

Most DS games don't have AP, it's mostly Square and Nintendo who have started putting it in their more recent games (ie FF Crystal Chronicles, 358/2 Days, Mario and Luigi 3, Spirit Tracks, etc). Just an FYI.

Not on Curious Village; a friend's got it on an R4 and it works just fine. And yes, before it's asked of me, it's a US copy. Lani Minella and everything.

I wonder if the rom source has something wrong with it...

Also, the same friend has Days and there's no copy protection on that, so I don't know what Cyanide means there.

Sucks to be you; that's not an R4, that's a TTDS dressed in R4's clothing. (Or I think so anyway, as the R4 screen doesn't have a picture of a card.)

Firstly, install this on your computer and format the card with it after backing up your saves and whatnot. Then unrar this and put everything inside that folder on the memory stick. That should get some firmware working, so then all you've got to do is place your (obviously legally bought and ripped) games in a folder of your choice (e.g. Games) and navigate to it using the firmware.
