Sorry if this does not belong here

I'm thinking about getting a tablet and a program called Manga Studio for my art. I wonder if anyone has heard about this program or has a tablet that they use for their art. I have places to buy them, I'm just not sure if they are worth the buy and I want to know if anyone has used either of these and how good is it.

I've seen it work and it's...ok...

If money isn't ur biggest concern, then get photoshop cs3. Otherwise, get manga studio.

As for the tablet, get a drawing one. Try to get a 6x9 for starters then move onto bigger ones. You won't be disappointed, I guarantee.

Anyways, I heard they're pretty good. Although, I'd say you should get the laptop tablet, rather then the one that hooks up to your computer because it's much less of a hassle and easy for on the go. I'm saving up for one once I get a wii.

Not sure about manga studio, though. But I'll say it's best to get a program for souly for manga\anime stuff, if that's all your going to use it for.

I always use a tablet for digital art myself, and if you are looking for a tablet you should investigate about them first - read the facts about each, read any reviews about them to see if they are worth your money or not. One tip I can give you is to find out how sensitive the pen is, it will make all the difference the more accurate the touch is. The one I use is a Wacom type.

About programs, it depends what kind of art you want to work with. I think there are trial versions online that lasts for a month if you want to experiment first before getting a program, like with OpenCanvas. It would be smart to try out trials first to see which program fits you the most. I haven't used Manga Studio but I have heard of it. Like with tablets, I would have read more about different programs first + any reviews about them before deciding on something.
