if i put a custom firmware on my psp could it be permanently damaged? as i i wont be able to ever use it again... k thanks bye.
you can add on the custom firmware but if you update the official ones that Sony hands out then you can't hack it at a certain update. And it does depend on your PSP.
well...after discovering that I could have put the SNES emulator on my psp and play FF V and FF VI on the long trip to and from Miami...i realized that thanks to my updating that they haven't created a hack to by pass the 6.37 update... i wanted to cry. the only way i cant get around it is if i buy a Pandora battery and downgrade via that way....which would be fine if wasn't leaving tomorrow... i really wanted to play my emulators in the car...cause its a 27 hour drive from Minnesota to Miami...and i know my friends are gonna be sleeping a lot haha. oh well...i have FF IX on my psp and FFVIII...i should finish them first haha.
If it's a 1000/2000, it can be downgraded via Pandora. Pandora are incredibly cheap. I know a place that sells them for under eight bucks, free shipping and all.
i know...im pumped for when i get back ill be able to do it! it will be kick ass. I know! FFV i have always wanted to play because I main'ed Bartz in Dissidia and i love him. as for FFVI...i own the GBA version but i left it at home when i came to college...lol so i got an emulator haha.
