Okay, so I know that if a person is quoting someone, they put they're stuff in quotes, as well as a comma before and after the quote.

    Example:
I told Amaury, "There's my dog.", but Amaury didn't like it.

If there's punctuation in the quote, it goes in there, too.
My question, though, is if it's just a general quote, but it's at the end of the sentence or in the middle of the sentence, does the end punctuation or other punctuation (e.g.: period, comma, question mark, etc.) go inside or outside of the quote?

    Examples:
He liked his juice "nice and hot".

    ...or...

He liked his juice "nice and hot."

    He "died", but he didn't.

    ...or...

    He "died," but he didn't.

If I am not mistaken, punctuation goes within the quote, he said in a low, raspy voice.
