How do I mute the cutscenes so only the music can be heard, using Windows Movie Maker?
    Not Windows Media Player

Okay, on the left side of the time line on windows movie maker, there should be under where it says Transition, it should say audio. Right click on the white bar that comes after it that's attached to the clip, there should be a thing that says mute, click on the little menu that comes up, click on mute, and do that for every clip you want muted. If this is confusing, I'm sorry, I'm kinda bad at explaining things sometimes.

Do you see where they have the icons between the timeline and where you import? Click the icon to the left of the microphone. It will come up as audio levels. Drag to bar completly over to audio/music.

The "Set Audio Levels" button near the timeline.
