I don't know why but one day my PSP stopped charging. I don't know if the issues is my charger or the PSP itself.
I even attempt to charge it by using the PS3 but it didn't work.
There was a point where if I just held onto the chager, it'd work. But it no longer does.

    What version psp?

If you take out the battery, does it still turn on when on the charger?

    Are you using CFW?

    Two possible problems then.

    1. Your PSP's charging mechanism is broken.
    2. Your charger is broken.

To figure out which it is, please answer a few questions.

    * Does it turn on (without battery) via USB?
    * Are you able to charge it via USB via the XMB?
    * Does it charge with other PSP chargers?
    * Does the connection area appear damaged?
    * Are you able to access files on the memory card via the PSP when it is connected to a computer, assuming fully charged battery?

Also, can you elaborate on the psp/ps3 connection?

Just out of interest, do you know your firmware version?

Is it still under warranty? If so send it back to sony... They will fix it or send you a refurbished one..

Try out the chargers/batteries at Bestbuy. If they don't work, your PSP is broken.
