I have just recived a PS3 for Christmas and I am very happy ^^ I have also recived to games for it (FF13 and Little Big Planet) Now what other games do you guys think I should get PLEASE NOTE : Rated T and under please I cant play M rated games im to young xD and I have no idea where this should go so if its not in the right place can a mod please move it? Okay, I'm pretty much an RPG'er myself, however the PS3 is lacking quite a bit in that department. Sure, there are some RPG, but not all are good. If you're looking for FF-esque RPG's you won't find too much. Resonance of Fate: Recently bought, the game isn't very conventional, and it's really REALLY unforgiving if you don't learn the ropes of the battle system early on. I'm pretty much just starting it out, and died like 20 times in the first boss, I kid you not. Afterwards I kinda learned more and am dying less. The game is kinda chapter/mission based, so there isn't a huge over world lush and green, but the battles are really fast-paced with guns flying in the air and what not. It's not a very conventional RPG, but it's quite entertaining. Eternal Sonata: This game is your really conventional JRPG filled with characters that think like in T rated games, yet leaning more towards an E. The battle system is quite nice, there's dungeons and traveling, and the art style is very nice. However, if righteous characters and cute art style aren't your thing, then maybe this isn't for you. There are other RPG's, however, they mostly fall around these two categories. If you could give some examples, like games you like, rather than genres.
I Really Love cute art style, I love when graphics are like that. Eternal Sonata seems really cool it it has to do with music whitch I think I will enjoy. I might pick that up at Gamestop when iI go to get KH Recoded. Resonance of Fate doesn't really seem like the game for me. I don't really like the polt (witch i just read on Wikipedia) and I don't really like the hard battle stystem Is FF14 any good? Well some games I like are like KH FF TWEWY Mario, I also like games from like Animes and Manga's too
I highly recommend Disgaea 3 to you, from your statements I believe you would enjoy it. Check out some videos or something first.
It sucks beyond belief, which is why SE made an announce stating that a new developer team has been appointed to try and make it better. The trial period has been prolonged until the game is fixed, and it won' t be released on PS3 until then. If you ask me FFXIII sucks beyond belief too, but some people seem to like it. The only RPG I truly enjoyed on a HD console is Lost Odyssey, which is an Xbox 360 exclusive sooo ... I would advise you to buy Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell. Resonance of Fate is refreshing, but it' s hard for novices and the story is incomprehensible (which is sad really, it looks like a smart story). All the games I own appart from those are Mature rated, so I can' t really advise you.

I would like to suggest heavy rain is really an interesting one.It's like an interactive movie. EDIT: i forgot about the mature thing.My bad.
Definatly go for Uncharted 1 AND 2. For a T rated game, they are the best games I've played so far (hence GOTY 2009 :D) Others are Bad Company, Need for Speed: HP, Rock Band (2 and 3 especially), and MAG.
Well RPG patformers, I don't have THAT many sadly. Uncharted 2 Blazblue - Arcade Fighting but it's got a story and very unqiue characters Agarest: Generations of War - Started on this one and all voices are in japanese but english wording, you are a hero who becomes a Spirit Vessel and travel the country to thwart the army's plan you worked for previously, you also get CGs of of the Heroines you eveually marry and carry on into the next Generation which is 5 in total. White Knight Chronicles - A good FF-like rpg, you are a Pactmaker to a Knight from an anicent war and you ahve to rescue the princess of your town, there is a sequel but sadly, it's not released in US or UK as of yet. Not many RPG platformers sadly.
If you like RPGs and Occult stuff, go for Folklore. It's a PS3 exclusive about Folk tales, specifically in Britain and Ireland. It has a darker side though. It centres around the murder of a woman in the village of Doolin, famed for allowing conversation with the dead. If you want to buy it online, Wipeout HD and Warhawk are supposedly very fun games but don't quote me on it. Also, Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 are on there. They're worth a purchase, since they're quite cheap and they;re hard to et hold of IRL anymore.
