Prom Night

It's an ok movie, not something I would pay to see again though. It's the typical 'scary' movie- almost a comedy, bad acting, etc... It was very predicatable too. You could just tell when something was supposed to happen.

The beginning was kind of... disturbing, since the girl watches her mother get stabbed, and most of her friends are killed in the end. Still, it wasn't too bad to see all that.


So has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

i had expectations from that movie. i was hoping that it was like Disturbia...

They were in High School...you know its bad already lol..

i have never seen it but i heard that is is a really bad scary movie

 

uhhh... basically some teacher had gotten obsessed with a student and ended up killing her mother, and he was sent to jail... now its prom night, and the foo escaped from jail and tracking her down again and killin everyone around her... some shyte like that.

 

Both of my brothers went to go watch that movie and they told me it wasn't a good movie.They were practicly laughing during the movie(meaning its stupid not funny)

I can't think of a good comparison. But it looks like a pretty bad attempt at a "scary" movie.

 

I saw it, (surprisingly, there were a lot of females in the theater...huh) it wasn't anything too good, and too predictable and a horrible ending that wasn't that satisfying. I expected better, but not something I'd buy on DVD (or bootleg for that matter!). So, if your looking for a pretty predictable scary movie with bad acting, etc. then this is your movie.

 

I have no desire to see this movie becuase the whole slasher-out-to-get-me-because-I-witnessed-something-tramatic-in-my-passed genre has been over done. I prefer psychological thrillers that test my brain, a movie that a minute in I can all ready tell who will die and who won't.

IMO the last good 'scary' movie was Sixth Sense and Saw.

 

It seems like all the 'scary' movies are all the same.
I don't wanna see it though.

I thought it looked awful and i was right! >.<

 

Several of my friends said it was pretty good. But it wasn't as they thought it would be.

 

I saw Prom Night yesterday and my two friends and I were the only people in the theater. IT ROCKED!!!

Trailer was pretty scary. Might see it with some friends at some point, considering the lack of really scary movies lately.

 

People should just stop remaking movies. The original was great.
