The site has suddenly started being really glitchy for me... Drop-down menus rarely work, and sometimes I can't even post. Up until a few days ago there were no problems, but our computer then got a Trojan Horse and a whole bunch of problems started. The Trojan was dealt with, and all the other problems too (it seems), except the KH-Vids problems... Since the Trojan, this computer has had these problems with this site: -Drop-down menus rarely work - like when I click to change my mood, or click on the 'Quick Links' drop-down on the top right. Clicking on the mood image does pretty much nothing, and clicking on the links drop-down refreshes and makes the menu bar become full of links for the site, without even giving me the drop-down menu like usual. A friend also had problems with the drop-down menus on eSpin.com when they used this pc yesterday, so I know it's not just this site. -Message Editor Interface Problems - Days ago I could use the most advanced editor, now I have to use the simplest without emoticons, colour etc. If I use the most advanced or the medium editors, the typing area usually becomes useless, the flashing typing icon dissapears and I can't type. Also, everytime I post, even though I post more than 10 letters, the 'less than 10 letters' message appears, then, even though I've been warned, the message posts... And sometimes when the better editor interfaces are working, messages will just get that warning and not post at all, even if they're much more than 10 letters. Sometimes, but not often, the advanced editors and drop-down menus will work, but never for long. I've found that if I go to the BB code/Smilies/ links at the bottom of a thread, it takes me to their info page, and suddenly everything will work fine for a few minutes, before going all glitchy again. ;~; PLEASE HELP
If you're using Internet Explorer, get Firefox. If you can't for parental reasons or something else, update your browser to the latest version. The only thing that I can think of other than that is updating Java. I'm not sure if it's related, but as I said, it's all I can think of. Good luck. :3
Thanks for the advice :] OK, I updated Firefox (which I'd never used before, and I didn't know it was a browser), Java and did some IE updating. I'd been using IE, and it still has those same probs with this site. So now when I'm using this site I do it in Firefox instead, because it works with that browser. I prefer IE, but I don't mind opening Firefox to use this site. Ty for helpin me find a way around those problems!
