10 years after her tragic death and the enquiry is FINALLY under way. But I was wondering what peoples thoughts on the events that took place on the 31st August 1997. There are many conspiracy theories flying around, some even think the Royal Family themselves had her killed. But what do you think?

I personally think it was nothing more than a tragic accident, nothing more nothing less. I also wish that they would leave the entire thing well alone now and let the woman rest in peace, not to mention how upsetting it must be for her sons. I do not think the Royal Family had a conspiracy going xDDD heck they have had their fair share of scandal, why would they worry about what Diana could do?

Sometimes in life tragic things just happen, there isn't always a reason or a conspiracy behind them, they just happen.

I have to agree with CTR. This was probably no more than a very tragic accident and dragging this up time and time again must have a detrimental effect on her two sons. I think it is time to leave this subject well alone, leave Diana in peace and allow her sons to move on.

People sadly have to look for conspiracies all the time and this macabre fascination is fueled by the media who, lets face it, are trying to get more attention. What happened is now firmly in the past and should stay there. Raking up dirt, real or imagined is not going to bring those who died back and its only the morbid curiosity of the public that keeps it alive.

I believe it was pretty clear how she seemed to die because the driver was drunk and some paparazzi were being crazy and well...crap happened. I don't get why it took 10 years any way for them to be doing this again. If investigations were going to happen, it should have been done then and now, unless there is any viable proof of foul play, which I haven't seen anything yet so I could be wrong, then this whole thing should be left be. Diana was a great person and a lot of people miss her but if there is no evidence of anything other than a tragic accident, let it go.

i will always say the paparazzi have blood on their hands for death and the drunk driver (i was 5 when it happened). My mum ctually cried when she found out (Diana was a very good person and was taken away too soon).
