Pretty good for your first in smudgy style. I like the pentooling in here, but I think it'd be better in a different color. The stock has nice quality, but his necklace looks a bit fake for some reason. Erase the smudging off of his elbow, it's killing the flow. I like the text you added. Definitely fits. Try to use a wider variety of smudge brushes.

Thankies misty. The chain he's wearing...isn't a chain. A design on the shirt...of a chain. That's why it's a bit funky ^^ The elbow I did go overboard on. Thanks for the comment <3

My only complains it´s what Misty pointed, mainly because of his elbow since that part of the smudging is blurred.

Btw, I like where the text it´s placed, it kinda helps to show that the chain it´s a design in his shirt (Well, atleast for me lol).

I´ll like to see a version with lighing too.

Nedz moar then smugde, add some "solid" effects to the tag.

Color combo lol, blue, bright blue, brown and omg gold. Low opacity overlay gradient is just waiting to be used, no srsly add one D:

 

I agree with Xidon, definitely needs more smudge and foreground.

Also, colors need work. They don't match at all.

Yeah, elbow and lighting needs work. I'd like to fix the color myself. I worked on it a shitload though xD But it isn't noticeable =[

Hmm, good. I like the "wave effect" around, and with those colors, it creates a good harmony. And with that wave effect, the point of the attention is on the guy. I just don't like very much the chain drawn on the shirt, because it's too different from the rest of the sig, for the color, but also for the style of the draw.

You are still doing it wrong. You're telling him what to do with the tag, but not why he should do that.
And you are also "suggesting" him to make a sliver, gold and black tag and take out the only part of the tag that isn't smudged and that would make the tag boring and give it a worse color scheme.
That ain't constructive criticism...

Look at RaxaSora2010s comment, he tells what bothers him, why it bothers him and that in his opinion it should be edited/removed. He didn't point out much, but his critique was much better then yours.

Let's see. I love teh smudging technique. You should learn more how to catch the audience's attention a bit more because at first I thought the right arm was completely out of teh pic by the smudges until I noticed the hand holding the cellphone. Try smudging the edges of the sig instead and then I'll like it better then.

Overall, you did great and I never thought smudging would be this good. Good job.

The spam needs to stop, and if there's a problem like this again, PM staff. We're not here to collect dust, we're here to prevent problems.
So CnC in this and all other threads from now on, and don't say, "Your stuff sucks, blah blah" because people here are at different levels of graphics. =\

 

Xiyamae by your logic a food critic can't give critique unless he is a chef or a movie critic can't do the same thing if he is not a movie director, it really doesn't matter how my work looks like as long as I give proper critique and I do.

Concerning you not liking the 2-3 things I posted here, I really really don't care. I have quit tagging/graphics more then 2 months ago and the tags I make now are only tags requested by some friends and believe it or not the fact that you don't like it doesn't mean much to me. I didn't ask your opinion on my tags, or I ever will, so how about you drop your childish act and either post on topic or don't post at all and if you have a personal grudge against me feel free to PM me or complain to a mod.
As for me this is my last post in this thread, because I refuse to continue this rather pointless spamming.
