Help Post Templates Issue with the WYSIWYG Editor

I've decided to change to the What You See Is What You Get editor, but I can't get my color post template to apply to my text, and I have to temporarily change it using the quick change in the box here to Source Mode for [COLOR=][*/COLOR] to appear and then move my text to it.
