Yeah.. Don't you think 'political correctness' is going a wee bit far?

a little while back I had to attend this show type thing at my little brother's school and all the kids started singing,
''Baa baa Ethnic sheep, have you any wool....'' Wth! Who's gonna get offended by a kid's nursery rhyme that happens to involve a black sheep?
I mean, if someone called me a white sheep I wouldn't get all offended.. I'd just look at them like they were off their head...

and by that logic it should be 'Snow caucasian and the seven little people'

    Thoughts?

Ethnic sheep? In any illustrations I've seen, the sheep is black. Pitch black. Given that "Ethnic" is probably a pollitically correct term for a person of African descent, is the song now about a brown sheep?

    My thoughts exactly.

It's a song that little kids sing about a black sheep who gives wool to 3 people.. nothing more.

Same with blackboards now being called chalkboards... why? the board is black, isn't it?
If a black kid gets offended because a writing board is the same colour as what his/her skin is said to be (even though it's not really black at all) then he/she has sensitivity issues... and you don't see many people like that, ever..

There are white boards as well. It would be politically incorrect not to have a black one.
