Newer laptop keys cannot be put back on, they have designed the keyboards to need a full replacement if a key breaks off.
Nope. A few months ago there was something stuck under my arrow keys, it wouldn't come out. I plucked off the 'Down' arrow key, and now I'm constantly trying to keep it in place.
Now you have the satisfaction of having a clean keyboard not filled with disgusting residue from whatever disgusting activities you do on a daily basis.

My keyboard is always clean, so I will never destroy it by pulling off a key and forever ruin my laptop. The space on my computer though, that's probably really messy. There's 100 GB taken up on this thing by who-knows-what.
