Birth by Sleep Please, help me

okay i kinda stop checking the various Kingdom hearts forums for about a year but now that the new games were announced I want to know more. the problem is i kinda forgot some details and i was wondering if someone could answer some questions

1) I know that the names of the soldiers in the "birth by sleep" trailer are Aqua, Ven, and Terra. Question: Where did those names come from? who announced them?

2) In the recent screens/scans that have been circulating, there is ven and a kid-ish looking guy who is refered to as Terra. Where do we get his name from? is this supposed to be the same terra as in the secret trailer?

3) I beleive i remember hearing/reading that UEM is refered to as "master xehanort." is this true and who told us this?

4) in one of the cutscenes in KH2 FM, Xemnas(?) types some stuff into the computer in hollow bastion(?) and then goes down into some sort of underground complex, where he sits in a chair adn looks at a suit of armor, and then says something about an "old friend". Whos armor is this and what is the most exact translation of the words that he says.

5) (this is kinda off topic but) Why did roxas not remember being in the organization in the begining of KH2? Did it have something to do with ATW putting him into the "simulated" twilight town?

6) does anyone Know whos shadow this is:

it looks like riku but... that isnt possible is it?

7) in the BBS trailer Ven's keyblade shatters. what is the most widely accepted theory to how this is possible and what the significance/difference between the keyblades that the 3 are originally holding, the 3 keyblades (sora's, riku's, mickey's) that they pick up, and the thousands of other keyblades forming the crossroads?

8) Where did Kairi's keyblade come from? (the one she uses in TWTNW) and does kairi's keyblade function the same as the others?

9) who is the "soldier" you fight in the secret boss battle in KH2 FM? is he one of the soldiers in the BBS trailer or is he completely different

alright, i know i had mroe questions, but thats all i could think of for now. I would appreciate it if anyone could answer these questions thanks!

PS: can someone give me a link where i can download the "sunset horizons" and "Birth by Sleep" trailers? i thought i could find it on this site but i tried and i couldnt

1. Those names came from the elements of the KH main characters Sora=Sky, Riku=Earth and Kairi Water. If im correct Ven's element is wind, Aqua's element is ocean and Terra's element is land. Those names where stated by the KH director, Tetsuya Nomura.

3. It was stated by the director Tetsuta Nomura.

4. He says "It's been a long time my friend!" It was stated to be Aqua's armor.

5. As I remember from scene in KHIIFM, Axel was talking to Roxas and suddenly Roxas dissapeared, it might have ben that.

6. That's Aqua's shadow.

7. Well...his keyblade is different for designs and stuff, while the other keys don't have keychains.

8. Kairi's key came from Riku, he gave it to her to help fight.

9. It was confirmed to be Terra.

when I referred to the "Birth by Sleep trailer" i was talking about the one at the end of KH2 FM that starts with the words "birth by sleep." sry if i confused you (it was probly my fault for not being very clear).
and the youtube link is great and all, but i was wondering if there was anywhere i could actually download the secret ending(s) to like... put on my ipod or something


also: so if the keyblade kairi uses comes from riku, when did riku gain the ability to make keyblades (other than the one he has) appear out of thin air? i mean, there were definately 2 separate keyblades (the one riku was using and the one kairi was using) so if riku has 2 keyblades, why has he like.... never duel-wielded before?


also-also: I thought of another question: A) I know "end of the world" in KH1 was supposed to be whats left of the worlds after they have been consumed by darkness... or something like that. but what exactly is The World That Never Was? is it like EOTW = Heartless :: TWTNW = Nobody? (if that makes any sense)

and B) where is it that riku and sora end up after the final battle in KH2? is there a name for that weird beach place and is it part of a specific world?

and while we are on the topic, C) where does the final boss fight in KH1 take place? where does the boss battle at the end of KH2 take place? (is it still in TWTNW?)

and D) where exactly is the crossroads?

and E) is the big white door at the end of both games a door into kingdom hearts? and the big moon thing itself IS kingdom hearts?

In secret ansem report #2, ATW refers to a Door of darkness in his basement:

F) is this refering to a door we have seen before, or have we not seen this "door to darkness" yet in any KH game?

No, they aren't... Sunset Horizons (or Gathering) is in the original KHII AND FMII... Birth By Sleep is only in FMII...

 

Even though these have been answered already, I'd like to add some stuff.

5. Yes, it does. When DiZ and Riku/Ansem put Roxas into the simulated Twilight Town, they hid his digitized memory beneath false ones of being a normal teenager amongst the others in Twilight Town, going to school, to the beach, etc. But as Sora's memories returned and he talked more with Axel & Namine, his true memories began to resurface.

6. No one knows who this is, yet. It is speculated to be Aqua, but it could just be a resident of Destiny Islands talking with Ven.

7. Many speculate that, due to the missing keychains on Terra, Aqua, and Ven's keyblades, they are either prototype or artificially made keyblades, and therefore do not have the same power as real keyblades. Although the keyblade shattering does not likely have much to do with it. Freezing metal and dropping off a cliff will likely shatter it, whether or not its magical or not. No one ever said the keyblade was indestructable.

8. No one yet knows exactly where Kairi's keyblade came from, or whether or not its a real keyblade. So far, all that's known about it is that Riku summoned it alongside his own keyblade and gave it to Kairi, and it was never seen again.

It's actually called "The Gathering", not Sunset Horizons. Sunset Horizons is simply the name of the OST that plays during The Gathering. This is the only secret ending you can in the NA version of KH2.

Birth by Sleep is the secret ending you get from Final Mix+
