Kingdom Hearts Platnium match

I have the ultima weapon but i cant beat the platnium match in olimpus colosium! (Septhiroth)
can you tell me some tips? Plz help! I get him down to when his health is orange but then i die.
please senmd me a private message to my inbox on what to have equiped and stuff

 

What level are you on? You need alot of hi potions or elixers. Also synthesize as many power boosts and defense boosts as possible then use them on Sora til his str and def are maxed out.

 

im a lvl 99 and im stocked up with hi-potions but when he casts the spell to make me have 1 hp he goes right after me before i can use a potion!

 

Well then, use a spell. That is what magic is for.

 

when he starts casting his spell, you should hit him to interrupt it, later on that will be your only oppurtunity to land a hit on him tho

 

I assume by spell you are talking about Sin Harvester... its the one where a purple haze and a rainbow like thing float over you then the next thing you know, your MP is gone, and you only have a 1 HP (with Second Chance).

You can use Strike Raid, as that could hit him from anywhere. This takes good reflexes.

Or you could use an Elixer after the purple haze surrounds you, but before it hits. It doesnt take fast reflexes, just really good timing!

 

i agree wiht the above posts,have alot of hi-potions and elixers stocked,for your magic shortcut
Have it highest form cure
highest aero(optional)
and highest form fire(don't use it alot,just for a little range)
max out all your stats attack and defence boosts,then the rest is just luck

 

Put Elixir/Mega Elixir on sora's item Slot, summon Tinker Bell, and use heal, Elixir, and Limits (Arcanum, etc.) as u can. i can beat him with this trick after 10 tries :xp:

 

ALOT of mistakes here.

1. Magic has no effect on him,dont bother.
2. Curaga(if you need it)and then hit Sephiroth,because he'll easily counter attack and your toast if your low on health
3. you cant summon in that match,or in any match if I recall.


I beat him with Lionheart,Magic is crucial in that match.

Make sure you have Ars Arcanum and Sonic Blade in that match,nothing else is truly necessary.And like it was said before,pack many elixirs and a couple hyper potions.also make sure you have MP Rage,etc etc.Make sure to cast Aeroga often and cure when necessary.and dont forget to dodge Roll ^^

 

Summons are banned in the colesium.

Sephie is immune to magic.

Also Ragnorok is important. And Strike Raid.

Sonic blade is not as useful as Strike Raid. In fact I usually opt not to equip sonic, in that it usually messes up when I want to use Strike Raid.

Also, Combo Plus's are pretty useless, since you rarely get more than 3 hits on Sephie anyway.

 

Level 99 eh....then he shouldn't be too hard of a fight if you have elixirs or hi potions like everyone here says.....block and glide have proven to be my best friend....as for when he uses the attack that completely drains your magic and health....usually he appears across from the spot we was at last....ie....east side of arena...he appears on west side then trys to attempt attack.....atleast for me...

 

Uh.Strike Raid doesnt exactly push him back,if your wise and know when to use the attack then your good,but by the time your done Seph might be too close.

 

Same as the posts above. It's not that hard, I don't think you even need to max out his stats.

 

Strike Raid was helpful, especially in stopping Sephiroth from doing his massive fire bombardment attack. If you can't get to him via glide or dashing at him, Strike Raid was a good option.

Load up on elixirs if you can and max out curaga.

Don't bother with other Magic because Sephiroth is immune to it. Your better bet is to try to learn to dash at him at openings and go for Ars Arcanum and then run or glide away. When he drops meteors and such, run to the far screen sides away from him so you can avoid taking much damage.

If you are really fast you can do extra combos on him but have to keep the heat on and know by how he reacts if he's going to counter break it. I used Oblivion as the Keyblade but also the Ultima weapon.

Summons don't work in the coliseum. If they do on the Platinum match I'd be surprised. I never actually tried because they were not let in any other section.

Basically, Sephiroth fights in a pattern and if you see him glowing, you want to try to get him to stop with Strike Raid or a physical attack. If you are too close though to Sephiroth when he does the flame thing, make sure to try to hop back and run away from it as it will suck you into it. When he strikes, have patience and try to stay back enough to avoid being hit but at the same time, be prepared to lunge in and attack him so don't go too far away. If you lose sight of him, use lock on. If he teleports, do block right away or try attacking as I found that can actually cancel him out too.

Strike Raid causes Sephiroth to go into the winceing animation. I would not care how close he is if I have the initiative.

Also, I primarily use Strike Raid as a "Sin Harvester" and "Pillar of Flame" counter, its not like I spam it randomly.

Use elixers, avoid his attacks with glide and dodge roll, (i managed to never guad once and kill him many many times)
And abuse Strike raids invincibility (i find it mote useful than Ars Arcanum)
