358/2 Days Place the Device

    No, I'm not asking for help. =p But what does that device do?

    You see it in the first 3 Xion fights but it looks like it does nothing. The device does NOT transform Xion into her different forms or give her more power...that much I know. She changes forms because of Sora's memories that are connected to each world(it says so in her enemy profile). So...What does that device do? The Organization makes Roxas put one in Agrabah but the Xion fight starts off in Wonderland. Is there three devices? Or is it just one that teleports everywhere? Saix mentioned something about 6 devices somewhere in the game but are they the same? >< Is this important to the story?

    Discuss please. D:

    Anyways, I think the device(s) might be mentioned again in another game. ...Maybe.

    IIRC, there where only 3 devices.
    And their purpose is to absorb the memories from when Sora was on that world (possibly from the world itself, as their areas are the same as the Keyhole locations) and send to a certain vessel, which is Xion(Or at least the body she was in, i mean, Xemnas should've done something to her between day 356 and 357 right?).

    I was sort of confused as well.

    I thought the device was to model Xion, and change her to become more powerful?

    Lord Xemnas himself mentioned the devices so yeah I think they are important to the story; at least of this game.
    DeadHeart, I think you might be somewhat correct. I noticed that his third form (the one in Agrabah) resembled Kurt Zisa from KH1, which would support your idea about Xion absorbing Soras memories from the world. Xemnas must have done something to Xion after he picked her up when Axel returned her to the castle. But I think Xemnas uses the device to transport some of Soras abilities into Xion as well. I think (or at least hope) that we all noticed that he used Ragnarok during his second phase.

    i believe Xemnas was the reason that Xion resembled Sora on Day 357. as for the devices, i think they were just there to strengthen Xion so she could beat Roxas?
