Site News Pins are back [PLEASE READ INSIDE]

Hello people,

Hope that you're doing well. Just wanted to announce that pins will be returning from today forth. I've been through some ups and downs recently, but I'm trying. The features we had will slowly make a return.

Now then, the pin shop is still closed. But you will be able to request Achievement and Event Pins. If you have no idea what pins are, here's the FAQ about them.

Here's a list of the pins as a whole.​

All the pins should have a parenthesis explaining how you can get them. As an example:​

To request the pin you want, please send me an Inbox message. In it, you will state what pin you want, and if necessary, proof that you earned the pin.​

I.E.

Remember that the pin shop is still closed. And only Achievement and Event Pins will be given out. Only by sending me a private conversation.

 

So does that mean that I'll be getting back all the pins that I lost after I got my last Castle Oblivion pin? I'm still slightly bitter about that.

Well, glad we got the pins back, since everyone enjoys them so much. I guess it's nice because it's like getting an achievement in a game

Because of the move to XenForo.

 

Yes and no. Problems with the add-on/programs used to make the Pin feature applicable. So no because it was an unforeseen circumstance of the move but yes because the move was partially at fault.

 

What Nights and Amaury mentioned was both true. But the main problem and stalling has been from my part.

I was in a hiatus because doing the whole pin shop thing was too much when requests came in left and right and everything had to be done manually. So I was looking into a mod that would help with making things more automatic.

During that, I encountered some personal stuff and had to do some thinking. So I just went on Hiatus. Now I'm back trying to retool the whole thing and make it as painless and hassle-free as possible.
