Gorgeous colors, I love fall. I think these are pretty nice shots, I like how well you can see the leafs and the sun hitting them. ::L: One thing I can suggest is maybe taking the pictures from a different angle or maybe closer to a leaf of a nice shade, or further away for a look at the entire tree.

Other than that, love these. x3

Thank you, deary. I will take the advice at heart. I just can't do anything too crazy; the camera I used is very sensitive to movement.

My favorite is the second one.

Well...I'm going to be bluntly honest here.

They're not good, but they're not terrible either.

They look rather out of focus, especially the first one. If your camera has an autofocus feature, I suggest looking at that and experimenting.
Also, if your camera has a screen and a viewfinder, look at what you're taking a picture of on the screen before you take a shot.

The first one is the worst out of focus; that and there's really no use of the Rule of Thirds. If you take a picture of a tree, try getting some of the sky in to break up the composition a bit and make it less blobish yellow.

Second...your horizon line is way off, making the picture look too skewed. That and the flare from the sun is a bit too bright, for that I'd suggest messing with the exposure setting. It'd be a better picture if it was a little darker.

Third: I think this the one I like the most out of all of them. There's some sky, which starts to break it up a tad, but again, it'd be nicer if there was a little bit more. This technique generally works better in fall, since a blue sky and yellow/orange leaves are compliments.

Fourth would have been better without the sign, possibly with the camera angle a bit lower too. The sign throws off the entire flow of the picture, but had it not been there and the lens pointed a little lower, it'd have been a great shot going down the street.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunatly my camera doesn't have any of those settings you mentioned. It is EXTREMELY sensitive to movement, and it's hard to keep still. It has no viewfinder, or hardly any setting for that matter. It's runs on AAA batteries and has a screen as big as my two thumbs put together. If I could get another camera, I would. But I can't...

If movement's an issue, try finding a monopod or tripod online. Monopods are extremely easy to carry and are very portable, and tripods are great for taking general scenery and landscape shots.
My camera can be a ***** to work with too, but you just have to find what works best for you while taking pictures.

Okey dokey! :D

I really appreciate the advice. My major is graphic design and I never took classes in the 'digital' area, not even in high school. Hell, I don't even know how to use Photoshop. Hopefully I can get a good start.
