Try catching pics when you can see more of the sun. The colors...:=D:

 

The first pic is just awesome. I love the silhouette of the trees :3
Try to get them in a larger resolution though :)

 

I adore the first one. The others are good too, with all of the colors of sunset. Very nice, especially for a bus =P.
You might want to try taking some when you're not on a bus, like out in an open field, so there are no cars obstructing the view and staying in focus isn't as difficult. Also instead of a phone camera, a cheap point-and-shoot can be a great choice if you're just starting photography. Try looking for a cheap digital like a CyberShot.
