Kingdom Hearts Phantom

So I was just watching a video of this fight on youtube so I can see exactly what it's like, and I was wondering: what kind of heartless is Phantom? I mean, it's literally just a robe that has an orb appear under it. Would it belong under some sort of Emblem heartless? Or would it be considered a Pure Heartless, or whatever it was called?

 

He is an emblem heartless, hence he has the mark on his back. And yes, it is a disembodied spirit with the heart of the ones it captures (His doom spell is a cause) He, as you saw, cannot be physically hit unless the heart globe under him shines white.

The Phantom is an Emblem, with its emblem on its back. It's just kind of hard to see during battle at times since it usually faces you.

 

Oh really? I never saw its back, so I couldn't see if there was an emblem or not.

Phantom is a Emblem Heartless which has no body. It source of power is the hearts he gather, and his weak point is his orb. When he do that Doom Spell, he seems like he eats the person's heart, and that heart makes him stronger.
