I have to fix my PSP first, unfortunatly. However the game looks amazing, Persona 3's story with Persona 4's gameplay? How can you go wrong?

I got the ISO from a friend (I know it's naughty and all but my friend was pestering me to play it on the ISO file). About 5 days later I finished the game.

I have to say, although it's the first Persona game that I've played, it was bloody brilliant. I'm playing through for a second time as the female MC. 8D

Oh my... Well at least you're enjoying it, and that's the most important thing, right? There is however one thing I don't like about the Portable version, outside of Tartarus you can't actually walk around as your character. It's probably just me, but I really like to walk back and forth the same places for 200+ game days.

Is the Female route good? That's the one I really wanted, it's just sooo awesome to have romances with guys! : D

The female one is alright I guess. Quite a different perspective compared to the male one. Instead of the usual depressing blue theme you get bright pink colours. xD

i have this game as well. i liked what they've done with it. i tried the female main character, but i have to say it feels a little weird hitting on guys with my female character, lol. i like that they added Persona 4's additions to the gameplay, especially the fact that you don't waste a turn if you're hit with a weakness. i'm not finished playing this one yet, but one thing that i didn't really like was the fact that the teammates A.I seems ALOT dumber than what it was originally. they don't seem to understand how to use All-Out Attacks or something. i realize you can take control of them but i always preferred having A.I characters except for certain battles.

My PSP had decided to turn into an autonomous state and destroy itself in an internal civil war before I was able to get my sweaty, Persona-lusting paws on this particular game. As such, I am afraid I may only stick to videos, comments, and intentional spoilers for the time being, but from what I have heard the combination of an improved Persona 4-based battle system along with the interesting story and atmosphere of Persona 3 has been a rather successful combination. I have also noticed that people are quite thankful the female protagonist's battle theme is not based around excessive repetition of an alternate word for "infant" - indeed, the contrast of "extrovert/introvert" that exists between the male and female protagonist is certainly interesting, and alternate storylines are always quite amusing to watch unfold. Though I cannot play the game myself I shall be sure to pester any local friends or acquaintances for any particular changes or news of note.

I sincerely recommend you taking a look at Persona 4 if you have access to a Playstation 2 and/or Playstation 3 backwards compatibility - I personally believe the characters and interactions are a handful of the strongest and most prevalent of any JRPG; the party is certainly quite memorable, and apparently much more likable than the cast of Persona 3, though that is indeed subjective. The plot and the game in general deals more with internal conflicts than the more external ones in Persona 3, but it is still amusing to view. One of the downsides, however, are the extreme amount of spoilers in every single direction if you decide to search up even a single term relevant to the game.

I have personally not played the two Persona 2 games nor the original game, but there is PSP remake available for the latter. The two games are considered to be quite different from Persona 3 and 4, but nevertheless I do hear that both Persona 2 games are amazing in their own right. I would suppose it is a general matter of preference for all four of these games, however.
