Help Performance Issues Caused from the Song Thread

I'm not sure if it's because of the videos, if it's because I have 100 (the max.) posts per page on threads, or what, but whenever I go to reply to the thread The "What Song Are You Listening to Now?" Thread, I get freezing and loading issues.

I am using the very latest version of Mozilla Firefox, and it only happens with that thread.

 

People often embed videos and such--with 100 posts per page, you're looking at probably around 30+ YouTube videos. That's what's causing it. I wouldn't recommend using that as a view option, really.

 

Posting the videos or the 100 posts per page?

If the latter, what do you suggest? I don't want it too low (like 5). I have it on 100 per page because it makes easier to read or skim through a thread, whereas with lower posts per page, you have to click on the next page button more frequently.

 

The 100 posts per page option. I use the forum default personally, but even cutting it to 60 or something can probably make a difference. Play around, see what you like best. It's a personal preference setting.
