Paris Hilton, Emos, etc...

Does anyone agree with me when I say we're being too critical?
It's always, "I hate Paris Hilton, that ******* b***," or, "I hate emos cause they're so depressed and act like they have problems when they really don't!!!"

Why are we being so hateful towards everyone? I don't understand it.

I'm one of those people who is open-minded and doesn't like it when others criticize something or someone so harshly without any real information on the subject. And besides that, what gives you the right to judge someone?

"Judge and you shall be judged," is in the bible but that doesn't matter. Regardless of religion, we should care about each other and not judge others so harshly.

I don't know. This has been bugging me for some time. It's one of the reasons I don't read tabloids anymore.

 

Yep I agree!!! You know they wasted over 2 hours on the news saying they hate Paris Hilton?! My friend is an emo so I can't really say anything about him.........Also lets see what else people are bad mouthing......Mexicans, Gay People, Something I can't think of right now........I think people should just mind their owm buisness!

 

I do not 'hate' anyone really. I also do not truly hold grudges. I forgive, even if I do not forget.

However, this being said, there are some people out there that are easy to dislike because of what they do and how they present themselves. Paris Hilton is just a hook-nosed rich girl that runs around doing her thing. I really don't care. What I do care about is that I have to see her escapades on the news all of the time instead of watching real things around the globe that are far more important. If I were a 'star' I certainly wouldn't want the public all in my face, but that's just me.

As for why emos are disturbing: most aren't, but the ones that are out whining and drawing attention to themselves and saying they want to die but can't kill themselves every day...they are other people that draw attention to themselves and drag people down.

Perhaps that in the end is why people start getting to 'hate' others. They want to have attention and force us to watch. I don't hate them though. To each their own. I just don't want to have to see their lives all of the time when I have mine and others I care about to deal with.

I agree with you Tammylita since, I don't really care about Paris Hilton, since she can be a nobody for all I care, as for Emos, not all of them are like 'Ah look at me, I'm sooo sad and want to die' because there not, I use to be emo when I was at school because of bullying and home life, but I never walked around shouting about how I wanted to kill my self, but I knew I'd grow out of it (And I have) so who ever is reading this and doesn't agree with Tammylita, just think about it, not everyone who are classed the same way, are the same, there are different types within each class of people.

 

interesting point you bring up...I dont really feel remorse for Paris Hilton though...she annoys me to no end and what I really hate is how in the news, (when she went to jail), the news spent more times focusing on that rather than something more important. I really dont care if people hate Paris Hilton or not...

As for Emos...I kind of think Emos are cheap knock-offs of Goths...Emos really dont have problems...they just sort of cry all the time and becomes annoying after a while when they get too emotional over really...really...small issues...I dont really hate emos, but they annoy me to no end. People who DO have real problems and issues to cry about...are not (at least I think) emo.

and the etc. : This is my philosophy: I may not be like them in any way, but if they're happy with who they are, then they should stay that way. I wont make people feel bad for what they believe in...its not racism, but its pretty damn close. Anti-racism...ftw...

Well when your with one in all your classes,and they sigh,and they groan,and they bang their head against the wall,and you dont say anything to them.they are annoying..

we don't do that at all. We do what every other ****ing person in the class does. We don't bash our heads on the desk, thats stupid. Any person you classify that as emo, is NOT emo, they just need help :/

I really hate it when people judge me too. I have a bit of the emo style in me, and I had a pretty depressing past. My one friend, who is also on this forum, hates it when I get depressed. He claims he really "hates" emos. I asked him one day, "So, if I went full blast emo, you wouldn't talk to me anymore?" he didn't exactly respond, but I knew it was because the answer was yes, he wouldn't speak to me anymore. It totally offends me when people are making fun of myself, or my friends. People come off on him soooo much. They call him "Emo" [in the offensive way] and "Gay" and "******ed". It totally gets me mad. I've actually had to slap a few faces because of the situation.

As for Paris Hilton, Bush, and Governor Arnold of California, they can all go to hell. Paris is ******ed, Bush ruined millions of americans' lives, and Arnold agrees with him. I've personally gotten a few opinions from kids who live in California, and the told him to go fly a kite. [just a metaphor]. They completely hate him. I don't know why Paris is picked on so much, but I think it's because she dresses "****ty" and can't respect the public. It's the same with Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan. They make not-so-smart decisions, and they get targeted by the public. It's what happens in this world. Religion has nothing to do with Anything.

Huh? My point is that people are always going to be critical and give their opinions regarding the latest fad, celebrity, or miracle cough syrup. just because they do doesn't those opinions have to have any importance.

See that's why people dislike/hate emos people assume everyone of the same class are the same, now if you kindly go to my first post in this thread you will read how mine and cupcakes class of emo is like (even if there a little differant) even if I no longer class my self as emo. So please next time you say how much you hate emos, think about the people who try to hide their pain and try to get on with life.
