Has anyone else heard of this? I haven't played it myself, but my friend has it and brings it over to record as his own little LP project, and it's pretty awesome. I really like the tracks, especially the track used in Goon Honcho:
I've seen a review on it by I THINK the AVGN's partner, Mike on obscure game titles that get overlooked because of the titles, I've heard that it's a good side scroller but has a lot of limitations between the two characters. THOUGH I might be on the wrong game entirely
I PLAYED THE **** OUT OF THIS **** AS A KID. One of my first PC games along with Sonic CD. It was fun as a kid. I actually found a PSN version and downloaded it on my PS3 this past year and replayed some of it. It was a semi revolutionary 3D scrolling game at the time, but not much more than that these days. The only thing that really is off putting is there are no saves, each time you beat a level it gives you a password so when you play again, you can input the password to unlock the levels to the current one you left off at. So if you forget and or loose the password, u dun phucked.
That must have been released then I guess around the time PS1 first came out? Cause that sort of stuff should have been on the previous generation before it the password and so forth on the SNES i think it was before the PS1 Gen, that must have frustrated most of the players I guess cause that was the purpose of memory cards
Not even any save states for it on the PC? nothing? that's terrible, was the password system atleast simple? or is it one of them cryptic password screens I've seen from AVGN gameplay
Used to love this as a kid. I actually preferred Pandemonium 2. The whole "password to continue" thing was bull tho. I don't think it was like that in the second game. They should definitely bring the series back on current gen consoles.
they already have haven't they? using the classics or do you mean to make them avaliable on the stores for the new gen; PS4 and XBOX or do you mean simply revamping the whole game?
I've never played the first one, but I loved Pandemonium 2. I used to play that game so much, but goddamn was it difficult (or maybe it was because I was kid). It's apparently such an obscure title. I didn't know anyone else knew the series until this thread.
I mean like giving it a complete revamp. A new game with PS4/Xbone graphics. I think it would be pretty sweet.
