Hahaa i haven't posted in here in a while, sorry guys. I have been busy drawing for work and what little time i do have for free time, drawing is the last thing a wanna do. (I know, terrible to say but true...) So these are two character sketches from a series i created. (It's still in a very pre-mature stage...) but i thought i would post them and see what you guys have to say. Sorry it's not much... Spoiler
Oh wow. My dear,when you said you were going to post some art you did,I expected it to be good...but not this good. Really though,these are all amazing,and the colours and just...everything is perfect. And I must say the eyes are beautiful...so so beautiful. Amazing work m'dear~ <3

Nice dude, I like this. But Im thinking maybe you should've started with some full body pics, and then some heads. The dude reminds me of Noctis, and it looks like he should sleep more often lol. Im guessing he must have a lot of stuff to do because of the bags? (If they are bags) I guess it would give him character. And errr...here's an idea for the dude. Is he the main character? Because he's got the emo hair going. It's fine, but maybe adding a different type of hairstyle? Lots of characters out there with emodoos, y'know? Maybe something more original, like with the female. But hey, if that's how you want it, no problem. The female: I like how you gave her a racial background. Well...she's got darker skin, and that sign on top of her head, so. Man hotdamn I love how she looks. Im not saying she's hot, but just...the detail you put into her. The hair, forehead thing, etc. I love it. What bothers me a little is the bottom pictures. You added her head next to each other, but if I line up her chin and forehead to the other head, they won't err...you know. Meet up exactly. But hey, who cares? I like the design. Reminds me of Avatar the Last Airbender. Haha, I guess that's why I like these. : P

Hey there! I really really like this c: It looks amazing. The coloring is very good. I like how you've done the girl over the boy though. The girl looks very nicely done. I also love her character design. Everything is proportional, I mean of course the facial features are a little on the big side - but that's just style! It's really really good. The boy also has very good proportion, especially his side view. That's very nice looking... :') However, the straight-on one seems a bit off. Just a bit, though there's nothing wrong with it. His mouth i think is a little lop sided. Though I still think he looks fine~ I would love to see this series of yours. It looks super interesting. Add in some full body sketches too! n__n
My sincerest apologies for not replying sooner. Hahaa yeah he does look like Noctis a bit, i actually think of Ren from Shaman King... The "eyeliner" under his eyes is more of design rather than lack of sleep, i still need to come up with why he has them. He is not the main character, but rather, a frienemy to the main character. (Well, more like a detached rival) I wanted a simple look for him, as he is of Chinese decent, so having him really crazy would lose the feel of the realistic look i suppose. Why thank you! I asked a friend of mine that is of Indian (India) decent. So he told me how the official look was and the meaning behind it all... but i cannot remember it now Dx yeah, they don't match up. Thanks for pointing that out, Rat! Hahaa! I suppose it is like Last Airbender... Thank ye, I think well detailed characters and design in general should be as detailed as you can. (But also detailed personality too XD) I am working on another piece, and i do hope to have it done within the next few days. It is related to these characters so it will be an "extension" so to speak... Hahaa Hey there back :lolface: Thanks a lot, it is nice to know others enjoy it! Ahhhhh, these are so good. I'm envious. >: I really like the boy's design, but he looks like he could use some major sleep. If you're writing a story about him and her, you should make that a prominent part or something. Both of their hair colors are interesting because they're the opposite of each other . . . There're wheels turning in my head - curse you plot bunnies . . . I can't wait to see their full bodies, you did well.
Hahaa thanks Saxima! As far as the story and all the little details like his "lack of sleep" (not the reason), I do have a pretty sound story imo. I intend to have something more presentable for all of you to enjoy within the next few days, As well as a synopsis of the story. Thank you for commenting!
