I noticed that sometimes some of the threads on the site either don't allow me onto the last page of the thread or the thread is saying there is another page and there isn't. For example: This picture shows that there are 243 pages in the thread (in this case, Post Your Picture 9). However, whenever I click 243, the > arrow or LAST, it takes me to page 242 instead. Thank you.
I've never had this problem before--just tried going to the PYP thread and I reached the last page just fine. Any one else have this problem, or can tell me some more threads where it's happening?
It doesn't happen to me very often. The last time I saw this was a few months ago. I'll try to get a video of it or something next time.
She speaks the truth, every once in awhile this happens. Usually it's in the Post your Pic thread, there will be a new post, but it'll take you to "Page: 245" for example, when the new post would be on "Page: 246". After someone else posts it fixes itself, or if you hit Reply and go advanced you can see the post that can't be viewed, but you can't access the new page for whatever reason. It doesn't happen very often, but it is weird.
Oh good,this has not just happened to me. I just thought my Internet was being mean. But another thing this has happened to me on is the Last Person to Post thread,when people are replying rather fast. It just seems to briefly give up,and then if I wait a few minutes it is generally back to normal.
Been looking around on the vBulletin site and it seems it's an issue with the counters. It's a fairly easy fix, the process to do so might be a bit intensive though. We will hopefully be upgrading to a newer version of vBulletin eventually, which we will have to temporarily close down the forum for, I'm thinking that will also be a good time to catch up on rebuilding some things. I'll add this to the list. =]
