Um, I'm not sure if this is the right place but...I really need help in Final Fantasy X in defeating Overdrive Sin (sorry if I got the name wrong). It has 140,000 HP and I know that if it reaches overdrive mode, it's game over immediately. I don't know any high-level spells, aside from Wakka knowing 'flare', and the heaviest hitter is Auron with his strength around 42. The best I could do was whittle its HP down to 90,000 by using Yuna (overdrive) summon Shiva in her overdrive so I can use 'Diamond Dust' twice, and then I summon Bahamut and use his overdrive, and then I use Auron's overdrive (shooting star - the best one I have of his) and Tidus's overdrive (spiral cut - the best one he has) and Wakka's elemental reels overdrive. Then I just attack with flare and Auron's attacks like crazy, but that doesn't work. I've heard of the extra aeons, but I can't get them. The one in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth requires 300,000 gold, but I only have about 30,000 gold. And the other one (the place where Tidus, Rikku, and Wakka go swimming in a deserted place - it's one of Tidus's first stages) I got stuck in the boss battle (because of the 'stone punch' or whatever). So it'd be nice if someone could help me know how to defeat Overdrive Sin, or at least how to get the extra aeons. Oh, and if you wondering why I don't use two of Bahumut's overdrive, for some reason, Shiva's hits harder (9,999 to 8,999). Anyway, please help!!
Well, get the extra aeons. I don't know how your gonna' get them, but get them. They are important. Level your characters up. When I reached my OV Sin, I had 9999 HP on all of my characters except Tidus. Tidus had a bit higher, I believe xD Well, strength is gonna' help you here. Sin's OV isn't THAT porwerful. It didn't one hit KO so far. I'm pretty sure it does 2000-3000 dmgs. So try to be over that. Best I can tell you is to TRAIN. That's really important.
I can't remember which fight OV Sin was so I can't really help you on that, I can help you on the extra Aeons though once I remember which battle OV Sin was I'd be glad to help ^-^ Ok, first of all I REALLY recommend stopping what your doing and either train or get the extra Aeons. FFX is the kind of game where you'll spend a couple hours training nonstop to get your characters high enough to take down a certain boss. (Damn you Seymour Flux, damn you to hell!!!) Yojimbo- He's not as great as the other two but hey it's an extra Aeon so you can't complain. He's located in the Sunken Cave which is north of the Calm Lands. The path is right next to one of the bridges and is easily missed if you don't pay attention. He's all the way in the back of the cave so just go all the way there, you'll fight him briefly but just use an Aeon's overdrive and it should pwn him easy. When you finally get to him when he asks you what you want to use him for, choose the THIRD option. Then when he names his price offer him half of that plus 1. So basically you should be offering 150001 Gil. Then increase your offer by 1, this will make him lower the price again. This time he won't lower it anymore so you should be having to pay around 190000 if you did it right. You say it's alot but it's a whole lot better than 300,000 if you ask me :\ Anima- You already know where it is so I'm not going to tell you again. The only thing I can say about that boss fight with the Geosgaeno is that you should train Wakka, Rikku, and Tidus. I recommend training in the Calm Lands or maybe somewhere harder for a while. But Geosgaeno does have that annoying Stone Punch and Inhale moves so I'll give you tips on how to beat him. Geosgaeno- You will notice that Geosgaeno is weak to all elements. So having weapons with an element is a good idea. Also, Rikku can Steal Water Gems from Geosgaeno. Use one of these, and you'll do around 4,500 points to him! Geosgaeno has relatively low HP, so finishing him won't be a problem. The only real problem here is his Stone Punch. You can solve KO Punch with a Phoenix Down, but for Stone Punch, you might want to consider Stone Ward or Stoneproof armor. Lastly, if somebody is inhaled and you kill Geosgaeno (with or without Struggle), he will counter with 9,999 points to everyone. Unless you have Break HP Limit or Auto-Life, this means Game Over. For that reason, NEVER kill Geosgaeno with Struggle, and NEVER kill him while somebody is inhaled. A Sensor weapon will help you make sure that you don't! Anima cont.- Ok, now with that out of the way we continue with my favorite of all the Aeons not only for it's strength, but it looks awesome! When you enter the area the door will be locked(what a coincidence) but you'll notice there are 6 statues. When you stand near one it'll light up(or something like that) if you got the destruction sphere from the previous temples(I'll discuss this below), and gotten the treasure for that temple. If one statue is not lit return to that temple and get the destruction sphere and treasure then return and it should light up. Once they all are lit you can get Anima and you'll be glad for it. TRUST ME. This is going to be a piece of cake if you got all the treasures from each previous temples you went to. (the story based ones were you got your ORIGINAL Aeons). What treasures you ask? Well in each temple there is a destruction sphere in it that destroys (duh) a wall to reveal a treasure. The statues are arranged like so: Besaid (Valefor) Bevelle (Bahamut)Macalania (Shiva) Djose (Ixion)Zanarkand Kilika (Ifrit) Now I can't remember whether the Zanarkand temple is before or after Overdrive Sin since I can't remember which battle that was, so if somebody could confirm this for me I'd appreciate it XD But if the Zanarkand temple is after I still recommend going to the statues just to see which ones you've done already. So that way you can go do them. If you need any help with getting the Destruction Sphere just ask me cause I'm a pro at the temples which I love doing. Magus Sisters- Before you can get the Magus Sisters, you'll have to unlock both Anima and Yojimbo. So do that first. Your next step is to head to Remien Temple. To get there, ride a chocobo to the southern entrance (opposite of Zanarkand). You'll see a feather on the ground there. Press X to jump with the feather and then proceed forward. Enter the temple and defeat Belgemine's Aeons. Each time you defeat one of hers you can't use that corresponding Aeon. (EX. Defeat Shiva, then you can't use Shiva either). Once you defeat her you'll aquire the Flower Septor. This is one of the key items you need to get these Aeons. To get the Blossom Crown you must catch at least ONE of EACH monster at Mt. Gagazet. That's it. Then go to the monster arena guy and he'll give it to you. If he doesn't then your missing one. Here are the names for them all. Bandersnatch- Mt. Gagazet Trails Grat- Mt. Gagazet Trails Grenade- Mt. Gagazet Trails Bashura- Mt. Gagazet Trails Ahriman- Mt. Gagazet Trails Grendel- Mt. Gagazet Trails Dark Flan- Mt. Gagazet Cavern Mandragora- Mt. Gagazet Cavern Behemoth- Mt. Gagazet Cavern Splasher- Mt. Gagazet Ponds Achelous- Mt. Gagazet Ponds Maelspike- Mt. Gagazet Ponds Once you get the Blossom Crown just head back to the Requim Temple and go through the door and you'll get them. They are the most powerful of all the Aeons and can last you half as long as half an entire boss fight if you use them right. (When I fought the final boss I summoned them after each of my Aeons got pwned and they RAPED so bad. They finally died when the boss was practically dead so I just used Auron and pwned) If I made any mistakes please tell me. I really hope that helped you. If you need anything else don't hesitate to ask ^-^
