Ouran High School Host Club

So I wanted to do something different and it would be interesting to find out how many out there also like this particular anime. Here's a bio if you haven't heard of it.

Haruhi Fujioka, a sixteen/ seventeen yr old. scholarship student with an average income goes to this prestigious Ouran Academy, a high school located in Tokyo in hopes of becoming a lawyer like her deceased mother who passed away when she was little. Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, a place where the Ouran Academy Host Club, a group of six extremely attractive male students, gathers to entertain both male and female "clients" particually female.

Customers who attend the host club have the freedom to choose which host will entertain them, playing to their specific needs and interests. Each member of the host club is a specific "type" designed to suit the varying tastes of female clients (Stoic, Silent, Devil, Lolita boy, Prince). The twins Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin and cousins Takashi Morinozuka ("Mori") and Mitsukuni Haninozuka ("Honey") showcase their respective close relationships to please or entertain customers. Tamaki Suoh is president and leader of the club, while Kyoya Ootori as vice president manages all the events for the club. The Third Music Room has been outfitted by the Club to accommodate their business and, at times, is elaborately decorated according to a specific theme, ranging from a tropical paradise to a traditional picnic, to heighten the customers' pleasure and keep things interesting.

During her first meeting with the six hosts, Haruhi astounded by their behavior and antics, accidentally knocks over and breaks an antique vase valued at ¥8,000,000 (US$80,000) and is told by Tamaki to repay the cost in service to the club since she clearly can not afford to pay. Haruhi's short hair and slouching attire and gender-ambiguous look causes her to be mistaken by the hosts for a male student. The hosts all agree that Haruhi would be a good host, thus making her join the host club once she is made over to look more presentable to their clients. Ultimately she agrees to join the Club as a host herself (dressed as a male) in order to pay off her debt even after the six guys discover she's really a girl and go through efforts to hide her actual gender. Through these experiences she learns the different personailities of each of the guy's and their lineage.

Romace is allowed for both genders of the same or not, but keep it according to this forum standards.

OCs are welcome and characters from video games and different anime are allowed as long as things don't go crazy. For example no over use of power against characters that don't have powers.

*Note* For right now I will go ahead and take the roles of Hikaru and Kaoru since they are identical twins, but I will give up the role of one of the twins if a user can prove to me that that he/she is evenly matched with how I roleplay. Doesn't have to be exact, but you must think like you're my twin so it could be a challenge, but do your best. I don't expect perfection.

Bio of Hikaru and Kaoru

"The twins," age 15-16 Hikaru and Kaoru are both mischievous, devious, cunning, coniving and childish young guys who often toy with people around them, especially their fellow classmate and Host Club member, Haruhi. They are very notorious of getting on Tamaki's bad side and love to fuel the fire and see his reaction with thier antics. Hikaru is more stubborn and outspoken than his younger brother Kaoru who seems to be more sensitive and mature, but they both are either very interested in something and will go all out, or won't care in the slighthest if it doesn't interest them or things get boring for them. They are notorious for startting trouble and playing games. Regardless of thier traits, they are known for their act of "forbidden brotherly love" that appeals to their customers and they care for one of another on a great deal. One is hardly ever without the other. They are both from a wealthy aristocratic family where their mother is a CEO and fashion designer and their father is a computer software designer so indeed they are spoiled and are used to be waited on. Just don't ever get on thier bad side for they can become one's worst enemy and are known for physical violence.

 

Ooh! Can I have Tamaki? (He's my third favorite; twins come first!) I might make an OC later (I don't have the time right now because I'm actually in a class. lol) Shall we color code the characters? Oh, and noticed in the little bio you put up for the twins that you got their age wrong (they're 15). =)

(OOC: Ok I went ahead and added you until there is someone else who would like to pursue the role. I still would like to have someone sign up as Kyoya and possibly Mori and then we'll have the main cast. In the meantime go ahead and begin the roles either of Haruhi or Tamaki. OOC: as if my siggy made by the lovely garxena wasn't indication enough, i hope we get someone to write kyouya too, heehee. but anyways, i'll start it off then! i'm not sure exactly where we're starting this all so might as well start on a new day. if you had something else in mind let me know =]

BIC: Haruhi stood in front of the third music room wearing her boy's uniform. Despite gender roles being generally low on her priorety scale, this was the first time she would be out right pretending to be a boy and coupled with the fact that she owed more money then she'd ever imagined seeing, it was a little nerve racking. Taking a deep breath and ahold of the door handle she pushed the worries to the back of her mind and stepping into the room. The sooner she payed off the enormous debt, the better. "Hello." she greeted the room.

 

(OOC: I would play him, but I would suck miserably at him so I leave him for someone else. The introduction you had is great. I'll go ahead and respond now.)

Off in another part of music room three, the hitichiian twins were up to their usual antics keeping their guests busy by having them swoon all over them. They had not noticed the opening of the white doors, until Haruhi had stepped through them. Both smirking at one another, the mischevious gleam was in their golden eyes for they considered this new stranger to be thier toy. Tamaki was else where most likely entertaining one of his usual guests and so it was up to the twins to enterain themselves unforuntely at the misfortune of Haruhi.

Hikaru was the first to notice the young peasant girl whose hair resembled that of a guy. It was the perfect disguise and the only way to pay off the enormous debt that she owed to the school. Spotting his twin brother, Kaoru whom seemed to always be at his side, Hikaru walked over towards her, placing his right hand directly on her shoulder."You're late. Is this going to be a common thing with you? I'm surprised you're not late to class also." He was referring to the fact that Haruhi was in class with them.

Kaoru, the youngest of the twins was a devil just like his brother; however, he did give others more of a chance depending on the circumstances. His older brother was the one that always seemed to think of some sort of plan or game as he was more of a born leader. In Kaoru's mind, he cared for his brother above all and nothing or no one was going to replace that. "That doesn't hold well with us." Kaoru flashed one of his smiles of his own, placing his left hand directly on her other shoulder. "Especially if you're going to be with us for a long time." He added extending his pointer finger above his head.

"Well tell us your answer. Don't be intimidated by the likes of us." They both replied confindently in unison, their eyes both focused on her like she had a spot on her face as their elegant and affulent guests watched in wonder.

 

Haruhi looked from one to the other. Unlike anyone else she could instantly tell who was who. Silently she noted Hikaru being on her right and instigating this while Kauro was on her left adding his comments as follow up. "No, this won't be usual. I was just a little distracted." she replied, meeting each of their eyes confidently. "As for being with you for a long time, we'll see."

Hunny sat next to Mori, cheerfully gulping down cake while their guests chattered and squealed around them. The shortest host nudged his best friend and protector with his elbow. "Poor Haru-chan. The twins are teasing her." he commented. "We should invite her over here for cake!"

 

"Really? Distracted with what?" they both replied again at the same time. The two were curious of what her life was like outside of the host club. It was typical for Tamaki to respect other's privacy, but as for the devilish imps, the rule didn't apply to them. Of course they were both careful of the boundaries lines and they did after all have a repuatation to uphold so no one could classify them as peeping toms or stalkers.

While waiting for Haruhi to answer, Hikaru overheard what Hunny had mentioned. Of course, the shorter youth was stuffing his face with cake, something that could easily rot one's teeth or raise one's sugar level dramatically, but it was like an obsession. "It's all in good fun." He answered holding his head up high having the superiority complex of a male peacock fanning his pulmage of feathers. "Geez, no need to call us mean," Hikaru quickly rolled his eyes and sighed shortly after he grinned.

"We're not being mean Hunny sempi," Kaoru replied calmly placing his right hand aganist his chest and then moving his right pointer finger to his mouth while casting his closed eyes upon the ground. "Why would you think that about us?" Clearly, he was playing the symphony card as the girls watched, tears beginning to showing in their faces.

 

Hunny lept to his feet and ran to Kaoru's side, Mori trailing behind him along with their guests. Tears already welled in his eyes at the sight of Kauro's pretending to cry and he threw his arms around the taller boy's waist. "I'm sorry! Don't cry Kauro." he whined, big puppy dog eyes looking up at the younger host.

Haruhi sighed through her nose. The way the hosts played off of each other and how the girl's believed the silly acts never ceased to amaze her. On the plus side, the twins were distracted for the moment and she was able to just watch.

 

OOC: I was on tour with my choir the last few days (we were at DISNEYLAND!) There's A LOT of stuff going on in my life right now (I'll post as soon as I can). See you soon!

Hook line and sinker. He had fooled them all once again, but unforunetly his plan had back fired. Gazing at Hikaru after he opened his eyes, he could see a frown planted on his older brother's face. This meant he wasn't pleased with him for some reason. From the tight grip around his waist, Kaoru placed both of his hands in that area inching his fingers around Hunny's arms as he attempted to pry the older boy off of his mid section. "It's okay Hunny sempi. Thanks for your concern, but really I'm okay." Kaoru took one glance at Mori hoping he would pry the third year teen off of him.

Hikaru took a seat on one of the couches crossing one leg over the another, his left hand placed underneath his chin, looking bored and irratated. "You're on your own. You got yourself into this mess," he chuckled lightly in a sarcastic manner. He didn't know that Hunny would be so drawn to his brother whom was having a difficult time removing him. If Kaoru dared to topple the scales and go any lower in some of his schemes than this could lead to something more serious. Hikaru had to set some matters clear once and for all. Turning his head to the side after the sound of Haruhi sighing through her nose, he shook both of his shoulders in annoyance almost creeped out by that sound. How unpleasant and rude, like someone nearly blowing his or her nose in front of someone. "Do commoners have class and manners or was she raised in a barn?" He thought to himself.

 

Hunny let go of Kaoru's waist, seeing he was no longer even close to crying. "Okay!" he trilled, running back to where his cake waited, again trailing a silent Mori and loud guests. His eyes flashed over Hikaru before he reached his seat. Those two are still a pretty big mystery.

Haruhi looked from Kaoru to Hikaru, sensing something had gone amiss. "Hikaru, what was that about?" she asked, curious after the sarcastic comment.

 

Hikaru turned his head slightly to the left at the one who asked him a question. Was she that oblivious not to see what kind of game they were beginning to play with her? Guess she would have to find out the hard way. "Oh nothing you need to worry about. Kaoru will learn. Nothing more and nothing less. He is smarter and than our King after all," Hikaru purposely rose his voice hoping Tamaki had heard him where ever he was.

"Of course I'm more keen than the boss. I'm not that oblivious," Kaoru sat next to his brother after he watched Hunny consume more cake. "But stil I wonder what you're thinking Hikaru. You can be so stubborn at times. Pride is a big issue with you even if it's over some one you may come to like," Karou grinned at his older brother, seeing how many buttons he could push with him.

Hikaru could see right through him his little game and he was prepared to strike back. "You should already know the answer to that, dear brother. You're the only one that sets my heart a flutter." He gently gripped his right hand and held it close to him. "I would be lost without you."

Kaoru's eyes nearly melted as he leaned into the warm hand that was now on his face. "Don't say that brother. I'm nothing without you. Even without you, I wouldn't exist. I should be the honored one to have you always." He starred into the bodily reflection of himself whom held him close to him. Kaoru prepared for Hikaru to lean even closer, when the guests quickly squeeled like rapid fan girls on helium and swarmed over on all sides of the couch like bees to honey accidently shoving Haruhi between the twins tender moment.

Simultaneously, they gasped at this reaction, but saw it to their advantage. She had broken up thier moment, caused by their guests which was a loss, but also an advantage. Knowing this opportunity they both smirked for a second and then pretended to be offended by this intrusion. "Haruhi, you clumsy ox. Just because you're in our debt doesn't mean you try to invent ways to get out of it; you dunce."
