His eyes widened a little when he saw Larxene and Demyx facing off in the middle of the room. Marluxia was noticed by Larxene as he stood there in awe of the spectacle they had made of themselves. “You! Did you hear anything?!” Larxene yelled suddenly worried that someone found out. “No I was just passing by.” Marluxia knew better than to mess with her in that state. “Good, now get out of here!” Larxene shouted sending him scampering off. “So you’re still so sure of yourself, eh?” Demyx asked pressing his advantage. “This isn’t The World That Never Was Idol, I don’t have to sing!” she yelled once again gaining her vicious anger. “Oh who said it was here? If you’d read the paper you’d know it’s a free contest on the Destiny Islands. Winner gets to open the Atlanica Seashore Spring Break Concert.” Demyx explained hoping it would scare her off. “I don’t care if it’s on the moon MY band will win and I’ll smash your guitar on center stage when it does, got it waterboy?!” She wasn’t sure of any of this but her pride wouldn’t let her back down, especially not from Demyx. “OK, have it your way I bet you, you could never win that contest.” “What are you betting?” “Let’s see, the losers band has to be the winners slaves for all spring break and as an added bonus if I lose you can smash my guitar, just like you wanted.” Demyx said with total confidence. “Sure. No taking this back though.” She said holding out her hand. “You’re the one who’ll wanna take that back,” He said shaking it. With that Larxene and Demyx both ran off to gather up bands. Demyx ran to Roxas’ room and pounded on the door. “Roxas open up it’s important!” Demyx shouted wildly. Roxas opened the door just in time to get hit in the head by Demyx’s fist as he was pounding on the door. “This had better be good”, said a disgruntled Roxas. “Oh it is. I just bet Larxene that my band would beat hers in the Battle of the Bands Destiny Islands competition. And you’ve got to help me.” Demyx pleaded. “Okay What do I have to do…” “No time gotta find Axel too. You know where he is?” Demyx Practically yelled as he pulled Roxas down the stairs. “Yeah he’s in the game room. Why?” “So Larxene can’t get him, I heard he could play something.” Down in the game room Xigbar and Axel were playing Guitar Hero when Demyx bust in dragging Roxas behind him by his sleeve. “Hi Demyx, hey…What’s wrong with Roxas.” Axel said as he saw Roxas’ limp body trailing behind Demyx. “Huff, huff, huff. Axel. Battle. Of. The. Bands.” Demyx choked out before he slumped onto the couch behind Axel and Xigbar. “What are you talking about?” Xigbar asked. “I mean I bet Larxene my band could beat hers in the Battle of the Bands Destiny Islands competition.” Demyx huffed catching his breath. “Yeah…” croaked Roxas. “And you want me to do what now?” Axel asked with a quizzical look on his face. “Yeah. I want you to join my band. I heard you could play a bass pretty well.” “Yeah…” Roxas said shakily rising to his feet. “I haven’t played since I was a Nobody but I think I can pick it up again. So sure.” “What about me little dude? I’m not a half bad drummer ya know.” Said Xigbar feeling a little left out. “Sure!” Demyx answered perking up, “Now we have a band. We should start rehearsing now.” “Hold on there I think we should get instruments first hen we can work on the music, right?” Axel said seeing that glint in Demyx’s eye he didn’t like. “Oh all right. We meet back here in an hour, with instruments. Anyone without one, we‘ll have to get them one, got it. ” Demyx said calming down a bit. “Memorized.” finished Axel out of habit. They all went to their rooms to find their instruments and in one hour they all came back to find Demyx had set up a recording studio around the computer. “Whoa!” they all said surprised at the ingenuity Demyx had if he wanted. However Demyx was nowhere in sight. Demyx entered a few seconds later carrying in a rather large amp. “Okay. Everyone has an instrument right?” they all nodded except Roxas. “Oh yeah I forgot to asked you Roxas. What instrument do you play?” Axel asked. “Well. I can play some guitar… but it is more of an attack than anything else.” “What are you talking about?” the others asked in unison each equally bewildered. “Well you know how I can summon stuff right. Well you see one of them lets me to use my key blade as a guitar but it kinda destroys everything around me.” “Huh?” they all said. “So can you play normally at all?” Demyx asked. “I don’t know I’ve never tried before.” Roxas said nervously. OK. So how was it? I don't think it sucks anymore.:)
