What was the blood test for? Typically, people stop having blood tests done in their very early teenage years.

    Annual checkup.

I'm guessing you've never been to a hospital before.

I didn't say that. I was trying to say that because that happened to me, I thought that's how it was for everyone -- you only get blood drawn when you're in a certain age range.

I don't remember the last time I got a blood test. In fact, the only time I found out what my blood type was, it was when I gave blood back in California. And apparently it's a rare type of blood type, though I can never remember exactly

My mother's a phlebotomist. I got tested a few months ago and I can get it for free through her. The thing is, if I do go through her she has access to my blood test results... I'm now planning on frequenting a free clinic.

I'm failing to see what's wrong with her having access to your blood test results.

One, she's out to prove how "unhealthy" my vegetarian diet is. Two, STDs.

I understand the first one, but I'm not understanding the second. Unless you have STDs, what does STDs have to do with it?

Always know your status, man. I can't keep going to her every few months. Embarrassing...

For some reason, I'm obsessed with bruises and I get some pretty crazy ones when I go out to the bar, and even crazier ones when I'm at mixers. They're so pretty.

Sucks you got blood drawn. The last time I got that done was back in October because they thought I was taking in too much salt. And I wasn't. :(

My girlfriend's a phlebotomist and the majority of her patients are adults, specifically elderly, and they're in there regularly.

Still, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah I got a blood test about a month ago. The bruise stayed for about 7 to 10 days. Hate it when that happens
