One thing that I noticed about Animes.....

Is that no matter what show it is, there's always something supernatural. Like I dunno....

A person being able to survive a super punch and ki attacks (Love Hina.)

Ninjas that have super duper techniques (Naruto)

The Afterlife is real (Bleach)

A person who owns a book that can kill people by writing their names. (Death Note.)

People fight each other using cards (Yu-Gi-Oh and Cardfight!)

And that's what comes to my mind

 

Yes, use only Shonen shows to define an entire medium.

Because there's so much supernatural in Gundam. Heck, let's stay out of the military power fantasies there and go right to slice of life shows.

I dare you to find anything supernatural about Gundam, Lucky Star, Robotech, or Cowboy Bebop.

Except that's not supernatural. The monsters summoned are holograms, which can exist in real life. There are supernatural things about Yu-Gi-Oh!, but that isn't one of them.

 

Well if you want to be technical, there isn't any supernatural stuff in Sword Art Online.

 

I've watched like 15 episodes of that just today.

Maybe you are biased and only look for supernatural things in animes? I don't think it is bad, when you are seeing something to have fun you like to have your imagination go wild, and supernatural things are cool because they don't exist in the real world, so we need to be filled in fiction.

Well, Most animes. And most of you are right, there are some animes that have nothing supernatural. But yeah, the supernatural stuff outnumbers the non-supernatural stuff.

I get the feeling Sam would be voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.

 

Sam was voiced by Jared, Dean was voiced by someone else and I stopped watching halfway through the first episode because Jared isn't a voice actor and Dean sounded nothing like Dean but it's been proven that JENSEN IS A GOOD VOICE ACTOR SO WHY?

 

Just how much anime have you seen? You can't say that kind of thing and consider it accurate unless you've seen every anime ever.

I like to watch this anime called Legend of the Galactic Heroes, you've probably never heard of it.
