Once the thought of suicide crosses your mind

You either kill yourself and are regarded as taking the coward's way out or you don't because on some level you're too afraid to kill yourself and thus are secretly a coward deep down inside.

These are just things I think about on bad days.

 

There's fear in everything, but there's love in it all too. I guess it's just about figuring out what you love most and serving it with everything you do.

 

We all have crap days, but you've gotta get past those and live for the great days.

As someone who has made an attempt at least once and has dealt with suicidal thoughts for a very long time, I know it's hard.

Though these days I'm steadily losing what little faith I had left in humanity. Not sure which I think is worse, losing all hope for yourself or losing all hope for the meatbags around you.

But anyways, I've actually been down this road a couple times myself. The third time where it got REALLY bad, I actually had to go to a hospital to get help. But all in all, I've learned we're here for some reason or other. It's okay to feel crappy too. I mean, if we didn't feel crappy, we wouldn't know happiness and hope. What I was told was just to give yourself a twenty-four hour period of where you don't do anything. You can think about it, but don't act on it. Write it down, rip it up later. This is how I survived/still surviving.

No one can really be happy and perfect all the time (like I wanted to be), even though others push you there. Let it all out without hurting yourself or others. Sometimes it gets lonely, because sometimes you realize you can't depend on others all the time. But once you know that you can survive without leaning on others too much, life gets even better.

suicide has nothing to do with courage or lack thereof. people who say a person is a coward for committing suicide are ignorant assholes

 

Suicide isn't cowardly, just an unwise decision. People say it's selfish and yes it is but when you are feeling so low that you are actually thinking of doing it then the feelings of others isn't high on your priority list when you can't even make yourself happy. It's important never to condemn suicidal people or judge them as that just makes things so much worse.

Anyway, have people taken this thread to mean you were thinking about doing it as I got that you were just thinking about the concept of suicide O.o

Everything most certainly is. It's how society deals with the dark, depressing sh*t day after day. We laugh at it like it can't touch us.
