The novel by Tim Powers on which the upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be loosely based. Anyone read it? :> Plot summary, courtesy of Wikipedia: I picked it up half because I'd like to read the book before the film comes out, & half because it's supposedly one of the inspirations for one of my favorite videogame series (the Monkey Island series). I am currently reading it right now and I must say, it's fantastic. I'm not even very far, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
