Contacts are great. You will most likely just have to practice the putting them in and taking them out part. I got frustrated with that rather easily when I first got contacts.
That's probably the thing I'm most scared about - actually putting them in my eye. My friend recently got contacts and his always move around and he ends up having to go down to the nurse at least once a week for her to get them out. >: I'm also scared that I'll look horrible without glasses, since I've had them almost half my life. ._.
Just don't put them in backwards like my roommate. Or sleep with them on like my girlfriend. When I was a kid and I first heard of contacts, I assumed that everyone who didn't wear glasses had contacts. So I tried taking mine out. Yeah, didn't work out.
Remember to constantly wash your hands. Don't, and it burns like hell. Oh, and I recommend making sure that they are the right way round. Eyes are painfully sensitive.
Oh, so I didn't even get contacts. Or new glasses. I'M SO ANNOYED. #_# You're such a smooth talker. <3
I dunno, 'cause my mom was all "you're only getting contacts" and I was like "but I want both" and then I just left. >: But apparently my little sister just found out she has astigmatism, so she gets to get both, meaning I get to get both. <: I dunno when I go again to get them, but yeah. I'M SUPA STOKED
