anyone other than me still play very old systems?
i play NES and SNES (famicon) more than any other console
i can't count how many games i've played for them

i play sega genesis from time to time (i like sonic and a few other games, but thats about it for this console)

and i like psx and sega saturn not as much as the others
i mainly only play romhacking projects on them when they come out

anyone else play 8-bit or 16-bit consoles?

defintely, i've lost count of how many times i've beaten Megaman and Megaman X. i also played Zelda: Link to the Past A HELLA LOT because i liked that game, it's better than the newer games, although Ocarina of Time was pretty nifty. oh and Jurassic Park for the Super Nintendo :D i've also played some PS1 games as well recently, like my FF7, Tales of Phantasia, and Xenogears. there are probably ALOT more games but i just can't think of any: oh and Super Mario RPG

Sure, play Megaman, Contra, Castlevania I and II, Ocarina of Time, don't have a PS1, however I am buying games for my PS3, there's also the sonic games, such as Sonic Adventure 2 (my favourite sonic game) and many others, of course, I have virtual console on the Wii for other games I've missed.

    I do!:D

I still play with my SEGA Genesis and Super Nintendo.:)

I have some of the really old Sonic Games for the SEGA Genesis that I like and Shining Force: The Legacy Of Great Intention and Shining Force 2: Ancient Sealing.

The last two games I mentioned are REALLY Old Rare RPG Games for the SEGA Genesis.

I doubt anyone else still plays them but I do.:)

I'm a really big fan of RPG Games as I said before.:)

Heck, I'm addicted to videogames like a DRUG. even really old ones.

I often find myself playing them for hours everyday without taking breaks.

Hey Carey, Can I add you to my friend list?

The only old games I actually play are for PS1. All the other ones are either in collections, or from VC. And then of course there's Gameboy. Nothing like taking out Pokemon Red and playing it in monochrome.

i think the reason newer games arent as good anymore is b/c nowadays people worry too much about graphics or how the character looks. they forget about the story line and gameplay. back then games werent so much in depth with graphics. they just worked on a good story and awesome gameplay b/c that's all they could do. XDD but yea. the simplicity made the games good. sometimes the complexity was very good aswell. basicly im trying to say is that most games back then had better titles than most games now.

There was a port of that on the N64 I think, too. Can't remember. I've been trying to find it for ages so I can play it again. Hitting people with a golf club was uber classy.

Aye, i played it on an emulator. That was fun as well. Hittin' cops off their bikes n' bein' chased was always fun.

They need to release these on the Virtual consoles.
