It really bugs me when people have to insert this as it basically just shows that they're insecure with themselves. There's absolutely nothing wrong with guys, particularly heterosexual guys, finding other guys attractive/good-looking, regardless of their sexuality, in the general sense. It's not romantic or sexual and it doesn't mean that they're attracted to them, it just means that they acknowledge or recognize that they look good and gals (or other guys) would want to go out with them.

Gals do it all the time, except they don't insert that or "no lesbian" in their sentences. Guys can, too.
