Yoha! it's nice to be here on this cloudy...um...NICE SPRING DAY ZOMG! XD First RP Thread eva posted here. I've allways wanted to write a story about a KH2 themed Marching band (yes I am a band geek. BAND ROXXXXXXXX!!!!*headbangs*) but all the good plots seemed taken. SOOOOO....Here I am posting this humble....post....in hopes that maybe an RP might be more fun! I hope you peeps agree!!!!

(Just so you know you do not have to know annything about marching do join this RP!DURRRR!! Hopfully though you'll learn a little more about it.)



Okay duuuuudes picture a big highschool, with awsomness and high learning quality shining from the brick walls and-OMG I'll get to the point!- It's a highschool-Hummm Destiny High (How unoriginal) Lets go with that. Okay basicly all the KH2 characters (Or the numerous charras I shall list below) go to Destiny High, whether they are jocks goths or god knows what. The highschool is known for it's "Artisticly Great Students" so Marching band Is highly respected. (By the artsy kids that is ;3) You're objective: Be one of the characters listed below and give them a place at Destiny High's Marching Band!!!!! AND HEEEEEEERREE ARE YOU CHOICES!!!!!

(FYI-You get to choose the Charas Instrument. Please try to keep them in character unless it's absolulty not working. EXAMPLE: If your are nothing like your chara that's fine but let me know first. I am also fine with Yaoi or Yuri but keep it CLEAN!!!!!)

FYI for uninformed people!!!
If you have no knowledge on Marching band kinda things, and you['ve watched that band camp movie that i dont remember the name of, then please do not act like that is the basis of band camp/ marching band. The movie and reality are nothing alike. Follow the movie Drumline even though it's mostly about the drumline.

I had to put that out there, sorry :o


Also, for one thing, I know what I'm talking about. I've been in marching band for 4 years and I have two more to go in High School, which makes me a sophmore.

 

Dude, this sounds awesome. I'm a not a band geek, but I'm the next closest thing out there. Zaah for the "orch dorks.'

Anyways, mind if I claim Xaldin? And...I get the feeling he'd be good in drumline. ^^; Let me know if that's a bad choice? Seriously hadn't given this any thought before now. But I love the idea.

I wan't be a drummer because I have been a drummer in real life ;D so fun I am not into the whole marching band thingy I mostly went there to learn to play the drums xD

Edit: When I say drummer I mean on the parade drums, the sharp drums not the bass drums.

 

Ohh! I was wondering is this marching band like one of those marching marching bands or is this more like a drum core (just brass and drum)?

cause that will probably affect the typ of instrument i want demyx to play

ok thats good... Now I need to think of a good instrument for him... Maybe I can give him an electric bass (we have them in our band, I'm not sure if others do)
maybe i'll just make demyx part of the colorguard

I had, like, 8 people... Luckily, though, half were chosen, so it made it (kinda) easier to pick... XD;

 

wait i dont want to have the electirc bass... it's in the pit the fun is really taken out of marching band....


I want Demyx to play the ...

Flute, piccolo, clarinet, tenor sax, alto sax, soprano sax, baritone sax, bas clarinet, trombone, trumpet, mellophone, drum, colorguard, Tuba, sousaphone, baritone,

I pick... Tenor sax! Alto is too small and feminine along with sop (no offense) and baritone is too big... tenor seems alright



And you should make larxene do colorguard.. I would pay big bucks to see that except i cant ever really see that.. oh well i can imagine

hey we should have a cool theme for this rp... I dont know throwing ideas out there : Wizard of Oz, Pirates, Henry Mancini, Nightmare before christmas?
sorry those were all the ones i had.. well Nightmar before xmas is what we are doing next year, but we've already got two of our songs in which we are practicing. my dad composes the music for us
also we did "the sounds of japanese anime" this year. If you think thats interesting. We did that battle them from inuyasha, and the theme song from cowboy bebop and the ending theme in pokemon the movie 2000.
But, in the end, we got ripped off by the judges. ^*murmers* stupid judges and their two star giving lives.^ A bronze medal was what we ended up with, but we spray-painted the front of our medals silver cause we actually did deserve silver

 

I suddenly had this image of Xaldin being in colorguard. And it made total sense, too. Fighting is like dancing, his lances are probably about the length of the flags they use, and wind could always come in handy say if he throws too high. *shrugs* Go figure, but it's either he's colorguard or drumline and I'm seriously leaning towards colorguard. SO, I've finally declared what Xal is, even if he doesn't like the idea.
