Oh, God...Advice! ADVICE!

Help me, please!

A few minutes ago I discovered this really fat bug on my leg. (It might have been a tick...do ticks have white spots on their backs?) It was a weird thing to find since I'm wearing jeans and haven't been outside today do to the rain.

So...I cut this thing's head off. Or, rather, cut off it's body after I discovered it was alive and kicking. The head stayed stuck in my skin, though, and it took about ten minutes to pull off...even with nailpolish and all that other stuff you're supposed to do. It still hurts, though...really badly, and the skin is red.

(Oh my god, what if it had AIDS?)

What should I do? Somebody help me, please!

try tweezers....thats what i would do....that or from what i hear, before you touch it, your supposed to burn him to death....

To say the truth, those animals scare me to dead and its normal that your leg still hurts. I think you should put some medicine on your leg and a bandage (obvious xD)
About the AIDS thing...YOU'RE SCARING ME!!!! T_T but don't worry, the ticks just suck your blood, they don't add anymore to you, and besides...AIDS is a disease that only humans can carry so if that tick bit you, it didn't infect you! ;)
OH! and like Ulxiz said...I think you should go see a doctor to see if everything its ok!:)

I think I'm going to ask my mom about going to the doctor...dunno who I'm going to see, though, since we just moved out to the country.

Didn't you say something about it's size?
wasn't it bigger?
if so it may not be a Nymphal tick...

There is just a tiny chance you will die.
First, not all ticks contain the disease.
Second, there is a vaccination against this.
Third, I think if you are with the disease, just go to the doctor and he will do waht is needed.

my nephew has lyme disease, picked it upoff a tick, you will get rings around where the tick bit u if u have it.....you should see the rings my nephew got, one about 2 inches in diameter, another about 4 inches, then a third that stretces from one end of his back,n to the other, just chill....youre not going to die.

My dog has tick problems from lying in dirt.

If you have pets that come in the house they might have ticks on them, because ticks do travel from one body to another if you were in close range to your pets.

I don't know how else the tick could have gotten inside...unless it was a GHOST TICK.
