That's criminal law enforcement for you, putting the criminal in . . . well you know.

Look, everyone knows a good cop. I got a few of them I know. But mostly, law enforcement in general is as corrupt as the political system. Cops do this kind of thing every day and most of the time they don't even get found out. They live there lives knowing that they do what they want. While the rest of the force, the good ones, pay the price for it. Like I always say, it doesn't pay to be the good guy. (Only said that just now, never before)

Maybe one day society will wake up and revolt. Not to bring up the past as an example of this but Occupy Wall Street anyone?

There has been a media black out on Occupiers lately, but I see new brutality related to the Occupy movements every day.

And so it begins anew, probably, maybe . . . it will get old and die out just like the last one did. People eventually realized there only advances involved going to jail, getting beat up, or getting pepper sprayed. Though I do think what they were doing was for a worthy cause.

Maybe the kid made it up?

    Just because I saw this:
Maybe the kid chose not to testify because he was lying the entire time, and knew by going to court a heftier punishment could be dealt, not to the officers, but to him for falsifying a police report.

I mean the kid was 14, and it was Halloween. Could've been a prank.

From what i've seen ofthe Justice system, it is not about the truth, but the convincing to people of what is right and what is wrong.

We will never know if this was something that happened or was falsified. People abuse power in many ways, such as beating someone or lying that someone beat you. Either way you are abusing youself and others with it.
You can not have bad without good. For evil acts there are good acts by definition of morality.

Trust others, for if we lose trust in others how can we ever have trust in ourselves?
    But always expect the unexpected.

Wow, that's pretty deep. I agree, whether they actually did beat the kid or not will be a mystery. Though I find it hard to trust law enforcement based on what i've seen growing up. Crooked cops, and bad cops. There were actually cops that got busted not that long ago for dealing. They do what they want when they want with no remorse to the causes of their actions. I know that there are some good officers but not that many, as i've previously stated. Though I have failed to state my case against the kid.

If there's one thing i've learned growing up, it's that kids can be the most devilish, evil, lying, cheating, cruel little things that you could ever see. I can see the whole thing being a lie, just to get the money. Though there are a few wholes that probably couldn't be filled in on the story. Like did he look beat up? Did he go home half naked and covered in swamp muck? His parents could be in on it just as much as he. Alright, i'll stop there. I think i've gotten my point across, right?

I think either side could be the bad guy(s).
